Is Harold Reynolds going after ESPN?
loadofmularkey replied to Buftex's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Errr? Good idea. Let's fire every employee/CEO who goes on a date with an intern. Mass productivity in this country would cease to exist. -
JP Losman I have been a supporter

I can never remember if it was Confucious or Plato who first said that. -
Ben Roethstinker funking up the field again...
loadofmularkey replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They may be losing, but it certainly aint Ben's fault. Whoooooa, as I was typing this he just scrambled for his life and threw a beautiful TD pass to Parker. Roethlisberger has been very good in this one so far. -

I have been a Losman supporter as well. But after watching Tony Romo the last two weeks (yes I watched most of the Dal-Was game today) I wanna know how much longer are we supposed to wait now? -
Anyone else see that on CBS a few minutes ago? It depicts the Dolphins team bus riding through gray, chilly, snowy Buffalo...shows the Route 5 sign on the thruway...shows a Go Bills sign in someone's front yard...kinda cool. The point of the commercial is, it's cold in Buffalo. Wear your Dolphins parka...but still cool.

Yeah, I was gonna say...anyone else notice a trend, especially with the first two?? I think the Jill was better looking than all of them.

YOUR Top 10 QBs all-time in order.

I'm 27, so I'm leaving guys who played in the 70s and above off the list. Not to say that Bradshaw, Unitas, et al don't deserve to be included...I just never saw them play so I don't think it's fair. This is my own personal list. 1. Montana 2. Brady 3. Marino 4. Elway 5. Favre 6. Young 7. Kelly 8. Manning 9. Aikman 10. Moon -

I don't know if you've noticed but: A -- This has been a slow season for Bills news. B -- This is the Off the Wall Forum. Which means anything goes. Check the other one for all the tres interesting Bills topics. As for Harold Reynolds, he and the rest of the Baseball Tonight crew (moreso Gammons, Olney and Kurkjian) were one of the few things left on that station that fed you actual highlights, analysis and stats. Kind of like what ESPN used to do. Baseball Tonight is still quality IMO, but I do miss Reynolds. This sexual harrassment claim seems very shady, especially when it came out that the "hug" occured before he took the woman out to dinner. I hope Reynolds burns em. -

This thread is bringing a tear to my eye. The rivalry lives. Not that I was ever worried... -

This is not what being a Bills fan is about

Because "retard gene" plus "drinking since 8:00am syndrome" equals "let's take our frustration out on Pats fan thought process". I have no idea if the guy was doing some jawing of his own or not, but I have seen bad things go down at that stadium and the surrounding lots. Was the newspaper wrong for photographing the couple in front of a church? Yeah. Was he acting like an idiot and maybe even started the whole thing himself? Possibly. Is there a side to the story we haven't heard. Yes. That said, don't act as if it's completely out of the realm of possibility. -

I think it depends moreso on your behavior as opposed to what you're wearing. My friend and I went to a Sabres-Flyers game about six years ago and we both had jerseys on, expecting the worst. We didn't drink our faces off, we didn't stand up and taunt everyone when Buffalo scored...we just had a good time. The people around us were cool, we had some friendly rivalries going and the guys next to us shook hands with us and said, "We'll get ya next time" after Buffalo won. If you're in an opposing stadium/arena, wearing a jersey and being overly obnoxious, that will get you attention everytime whether you want it or not. -
Is it Monday yet?

I hope you all got a chance to see the incredible feature on Tedy Bruschi right before last night's game began. (It was a year ago to the day that he made his triumphant return against Buffalo).

I have. San Francisco game, 1998, first win of the season. I'll never forget it. I really thought I was going to see a murder. Some Bills fan had a guy with a Brent Young jersey in a headlock after the game and was repeatedly slamming the side of his head against the asphalt on the ramp coming from the upper deck. People were cheering him on. I really thought he was going to die. Another game, can't remember which year, I saw a Bills fan shove a Dolphins fan down the stairs. Just reached out and shoved him and the guy went tumbling. Really hilarious. The point is, every group of fans have absolute a-holes in them who can get downright scary when liquored up, whether it be Philly, Oakland, New England or Buffalo. -

Sabres on the verge of national attention

DARCY NEEDS TO MAKE A TRADE!!!! -
How many "Bills" fans are comforted by Sabres?
loadofmularkey replied to Mr. T's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. I don't necessarily love one team over the other. I can honestly say that it doesn't matter if it's a Stanley Cup or Super Bowl...I just want a champion. I want Buffalo to host a party like it's never seen before, I want a parade going down Delaware Ave and stopping in Niagara Square, I went blue and gold, or blue and red confetti everywhere, I want to see bosses just try to make their employees come to work that day and I want to see Tom Golisano/Ralph Wilson hoist that silver Cup/Lombardi Trophy in front of a crowd of tens (hundreds??) of thousands. Super Bowl aint happening this year. So go Sabres. 10-0 -
