  1. They're both to be admired. You don't have to denigate Bruschi to praise McGahee.
  2. Once the storm clouds dissapear, all's not bad. The Bills went into the home of the defending World Champions, and held the lead deep into the fourth quarter, physically dominated the Pats, and had a 2-to-1 margin in time of possession. It could be a harbinger of good things to come. I think offensive playcalling might be shaky, FWIW.
  3. I love Tedy, but it was waaaay over the top.
  4. Watching the game with mute on is a must with the Three Unwise Men on ESPN.
  5. During the portion of practice open to the media the last 2 days, Dillon's practiced.
  6. Pass is an excellent player, catches well, a good, straight ahead runner. A poor man's Stephen Davis.
  7. I'd like a hit, please.
  8. In the end, the question asked is "how many championships did you win", not 'how much did you win them by'? Because the Bills beat the Raiders 51-3 in the AFCCG doesn't mean they were given the Lombardi.
  9. I remember hearing about a Harrison holdout/unhappy with his contract report from somewhere on the net (KFFL?), but nothing substantive ever came of it. Harrison has seemed to buy into the Pats program fully, so I'd be pretty surprised if that was the case. Is Milloy unhappy with his deal yet?
  10. You're right. He's handled the whole Henry thing perfectly... and the string of playoff appearances make your point. I think he's handled the Henry situation badly, especially with a glut of available RBs this offseason. It'll be interesting to see if he can salvage it. For the record, the Pats aren't going to let anyone shoot their way out of town, so Seymour probably won't be traded, IMO.
  11. Kind of like the #1 that the Bills would get for Travis Henry I kept reading on here last season? I'd love to play poker with someone who overplays their hand like Donahoe.
  12. It's May, fer crissakes - it's a tempest in a teacup. When the bell rings in September, none of this will be relevant. Seymour will be manning the D-line for New England, and for that matter T.O. will probably be back with the Eagles. too. IMO Seymour plays out his contract, then leaves as a UFA after '06. And he probably gets another ring or two.
  13. Donahoe never says no to anyone with a microphone or a notebook.
  14. Thanks for taking the time to look that up, I didn't have the time to do so. And having Mike Williams as overpayed as he is (as Donahoe is wont to do) speaks volumes of what ails the Bills.
  15. You're kidding, right? 95% of NFL contracts never see the numbers that get published in large headlines in the paper. "BRUSCHI SIGNS 7 YEAR, $50 MILLION CONTRACT" would have ensured that he'd be cut after year 3, 4, 5, whatever it was (See Bledsoe, Drew and in the future, Milloy, Lawyer). He "didn't make a lot of money"?? Check the numbers. Bruschi pocketed over $2m last year. His bonus was also over $2m. I think that might qualify as a 'lot of money'. Take into account he's with the model franchise in pro sports, he makes countless more in endorsements in the Boston area, and the fact that he might just enjoy playing where he plays and enjoys living where he lives, and I'm sure he's much happier with his situation than a guy like Takeo Spikes might be in his. Just sayin'.
  16. Considering how much of a recluse and tight with information that Tom Donahoe is, I'm sure this info has to be true.
  17. ...and got thumped when it mattered. OWNED!!
  18. Could you elaborate? Who have they 'stopped' from going to another team?
  19. Keep reading. There's plenty of other moronic posts on here worthy of your derision.
  20. Switching from Bledsoe to Brady was precisely the elixir the Patriots needed to get the franchise going in the right direction. The trade to Buffalo of Bledsoe reinvigorated interest in the Bills franchise. Both sides won in that trade., it's just that the Patriots winning just hasn't stopped.
  21. The New England Patriots are the best in the business. Any questions?
