Foxboro's been sold out since '93, including the end of the dreadful Pete Carroll years, and Belichick's first year clearing the garbage that Bobby Grier polluted the roster with. Well, with 4 or 5 losses probable (at NYJ, swept by New England, at best a split with Miami) the Bills will need to pummel the NFC.

The Patriots WR core isn't what the Bills D will be worrying about. I think that the Bills will key on stopping Ben Watson and the running game. I'd be surprised if the Pats' WR caught more than 5-6 passes in the opener. The TEs and RBs will catch the bulk of passes for New England. I don't think the Bills can move the ball on the Pats' D, at least not yet. I like the unn-dah in the game.

It'll be a lot closer if Holcomb starts. If The Loss-man plays, members of 2BD will be diving under cars on the freeway.

I don't know about that. There was a lot to be proud of just getting out of the AFC four years in a row. I loved the sign after the 3rd or 4th AFC title someone had at RWS that said, "We're back... DEAL WITH IT, AMERICA!" I feel that way about everyone at TBD with regard to the Defending World Champion New England Patriots.

You guys are way too down on your club. Did you have a horrible loss on Sunday? Yes. But the Bills are not facing the '03 or '04 Patriots. This is a Patriot club that you'll be able to throw on with 2 good WR on the outside if Losman can stand up to heavy blitzing. The Pats can't get any pressure without sending the house, and this will provide one on one matchups - Evans vs. Hobbs and Moulds vs. Samuel are a great matchup for the Bills.

Which makes Tom Brady all the more remarkable. Brady never went through the "pain of development" stage. Losman is going to be a fine NFL quarterback.

Losman's going to have a good game against the Pats next week if the Bills O-Line can handle massive doses of blitzing. Evans & Moulds should have a field day against Hobbs, Samuel, Wilson, and Hawkins. Should be a high-scoring affair.

Yeah, Lord knows there were no splooge-fests with the Bills in the early 90's. Puh-leeze. America hated the Bills early last decade because they were all over the place - the courage of Kelly & Co. to pick themselves up after SB losses. Berman's 'Nobody circles the wagons' comments epitomize that. To the victors go the spoils. The 90s Bills deserved it, so do the new millenium Patriots.
