  1. This statement I will agree with. The Bills have no chance to win in Foxboro, and a next-to-no-chance in Orchard Park.
  2. Poorly juxtaposed: Atlanta and Miami - terrible sports cities.
  3. Yeah, that's it. Sellouts for 13 straight years don't mean a damn thing.
  4. Ahh, that old chestnut, eh? It's the same everywhere, save for maybe Atlanta and Miami: When teams are good, the attendance is good. When they're bad, attendance is bad. Foxboro's been sold out since '93, including the end of the dreadful Pete Carroll years, and Belichick's first year clearing the garbage that Bobby Grier polluted the roster with. But I'm sure RWS has sold out every game since the Super Bowl run of the 90s, right? Supported the Donahoe Days of Thunder without fail? The Bledsoe experiment? Please. There are real fans of every team; they're not indigenous just to Buffalo.
  5. Aww, I'm just ramping it up for the opener. It's all in good fun.
  6. Ahh, yes... might as well attack when someone doesn't agree with you. Hostility from getting B word-slapped time and again by a divisional rival is something I can at least understand from the bad-old days.
  7. Excellent post. Enthusiasm is great. Blind worship is another.
  8. Well, with 4 or 5 losses probable (at NYJ, swept by New England, at best a split with Miami) the Bills will need to pummel the NFC.
  9. I can't wait to resurrect this thread at about 4:30pm on September 10th.
  10. The Patriots WR core isn't what the Bills D will be worrying about. I think that the Bills will key on stopping Ben Watson and the running game. I'd be surprised if the Pats' WR caught more than 5-6 passes in the opener. The TEs and RBs will catch the bulk of passes for New England. I don't think the Bills can move the ball on the Pats' D, at least not yet. I like the unn-dah in the game.
  11. It'll be a lot closer if Holcomb starts. If The Loss-man plays, members of 2BD will be diving under cars on the freeway.
  12. Ahh, the rose-colored glasses are always rosier week one, aren't they? Of course, the Bills are1-0 in Week One games against the Patriots this decade. So you've got that going for you... which is nice.
  13. And what's with all the weird obsessions with Brady on here? Weird.
  14. I don't know about that. There was a lot to be proud of just getting out of the AFC four years in a row. I loved the sign after the 3rd or 4th AFC title someone had at RWS that said, "We're back... DEAL WITH IT, AMERICA!" I feel that way about everyone at TBD with regard to the Defending World Champion New England Patriots.
