  1. If that's roughing the passer, you might as well put a pink tutu on him and a sign that says NO TOUCH.
  2. Rex Ryan in Peter King's SI column today: "I've told the coaches and players from the start of this thing, 'If we have a good offensive line, we're going to win.' It's that simple. Everything flows from that.'' http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writ...p#ixzz0dMgv3IBd Dear god I hope Buddy Nix gets that.
  3. McNabb washed up? No. McNabb on the downside of his career? Yes. PASS.
  4. Sullivan's job isn't to be a cheerleader. It's to state his opinion no matter how unpopular. If you think his negativity is a shtick, don't click on the link to his columns. The more hits he gets, the better for him & the Buffalo News. Ignore him. In this case, he is stating the perception that others have of the Bills in the NFL. Whether we like it or not, it's out there that the Bills HC has become radioactive because of Ralph's meddling.
  5. The Bills could learn something by watching what is making the Jets successful. It's not just Revis and that defense. I was impressed by their o-line yesterday. It seems like whenever they have Greene break off a big run, it's because they have a beast on the line like Nick Manigold clearing space. Sanchez gets good blocking, but he also has the mobility to make plays when needed. (See TD pass on run to Keller.) They made some good free agent signings too. (Alan Faneca, Bart Scott, Jim Leonhard) and trades (Lito Sheppard and Braylon Edwards). Plus they are playing their football at the right time of year. Clearly they weren't when they played the Bills.
  6. Chargers appear to be on the verge of gagging up this game.
  7. And what you really have to take into consideration is that this team considers itself the home team of all of New England including Maine, NH, RI, and Western CT in addition to Massachusetts. (Yes, I left out Vermont intentionally. I really don't think a significant # of people make the long drive to Foxboro from there.) I agree with your assessment of the team's flaws, but they do have 4 picks in the first two rounds in the 2010 draft. The question is how many of them can be impact players in year one. 1st Round (Currently 27nd Overall) 2nd Round (Titans - Currently 43rd Overall) 2nd Round (Jaguars - Currently 45th Overall) 2nd Round (Currently 59th Overall) 4th Round 6th Round 7th Round (PHI -for Greg Lewis) 7th Round (DEN - for Russ Hochstein) These picks have been traded away: 3rd Round (OAK - Derrick Burgess) 5th Round (OAK - Derrick Burgess, Thru DEN - Le Kevin Smith) 5th Round (TB - Alex Smith) 7th Round (Den - Le Kevin Smith) The 1st round pick they got from Chokeland for Richard Seymour is a 2011 pick.
  8. "We knew we were going to come in here and whoop their ass and leave" --Terrell Suggs You always had the best Bills wallpapers Moose. Nice to see you here again.
  9. Wow. Post game presser on WBZ in Boston and Belichick is giving the media snarky, short, b*tchy answers. I expected nothing less. If you can see this on ESPNews I highly recommend it. It's awesome.

  11. I can hear the bitterness in the voice of the turncoat, Fred Smerlas. *snicker*
  12. Wow......chanting Ravens fans are audible. In Gillette Stadium. That was officially a b*tchslapping.
  13. The game ends with Brady on his backside. Schadenfreude.
  14. nana nana nana nana hey hey hey goodbye
  15. Gosh, I thought all those loyal and die hard Patriots fans would stay to the end so they could give their boys a big hand for a good year.
  16. You can listen to them live over the internet. They are an Entercom station like WGR. http://www.weei.com/
  17. I can't wait to hear the excuses the Patriot rump swabs on WEEI come up with tomorrow. I will enjoy my commute tomorrow.
  18. Ray Rice is applying the coup de grâce. Time is running out for New England.
  19. I agree. It's not the way to react with class, but you have no idea what those chowderheads have been screaming at the Ravens sideline all day. They may be getting a taste of their own medicine.
  20. First time I'm happy to say......WIDE RIGHT!!!!!!
  21. I keep getting the impression that the officials are bending over backwards to rule everything in the favor of the Patriots.
  22. Charlie Weis is a failure as a head coach. Charlie Weis is a sore loser who acted without class when he repeated an unsubstantiated rumor about the sex life of another coach. Charlie Weis is lacking in self-discipline and is a terrible example for players. Pass.
