Just watched it the other day. Kinda obvious who he was going to pick after he spilled the beans about Bo lying about the money in the playbook, and that his own QB returned it. It was a surprise what happened after he took Mack and getting his picks back. Not a bad touch. The number of draft picks involved in the trades was a bit absurd TBH. 3 firsts to get the first? And then that team gives them back to to move up one slot? Still a good movie though.

Better yet, niners draft a QB last pick of the draft. Mel - “Niners got a steal here!” Herbstreit - “I agree Mel, I see him leading this team to the playoffs this year!” 😂

Your one, and only one, draft hot take?
davefan66 replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane will draft BPA first round and then fill needs remainder of draft with trades if need be. -
I use 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water (2 parts if vinegar taste is too much) and gargle with that. Burns a little at first, but the sore throat is always knocked out. Gives me relief for at least 8 hours.

Peter Frampton is going to be in Fallsview Casino on July 29. A lot of tix left. Just saw Chicago last night. Technically, they are really great musicians. Horn line is smokin’! Drummer is dang good. Original singer, Robert Lamm still has a great voice but isn’t in the show much, kinda stands in back and plays keyboards. The songs he sings though he does a fantastic job. My biggest complaints? The lead guitarist is good, but outplays the music. Chicago music isn’t about thrashing solos. Lastly, the lead singer is decent, can hit the Peter Cetera notes well enough, but doesn’t have the vocal range when singing subtly. He lives more in the higher pitch. A really good show, but honestly wouldn’t see them again. Glad I had the chance to see them finally.

Josh (Allen) Wyoming jersey at Bills Store
davefan66 replied to davefan66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sorry…😞 I will say this, he 3X is dang big. A bit bigger than the 3X Nike jerseys. A bit too big TBH. I then forked over the money for a 2X logically thinking it may for just right…nope. Def a regular sized 2X, can get away with it kinda, but no way it can handle the bundled up look of late in the year games. Love the look of theses Wyoming jersey and had to get one. My son got one from The Gate and their sized run very small. The 3X from them is like a small 2X (got a Montana that didn’t fit at all and then a Josh Bills hoping the sizing was better…wasn’t). -
FYI. Bills store selling Josh Wyoming college jerseys. Link

They could care less. They got paid a ton of money to do nothing. All the risk is on YouTube to recoup their money, NFL gets paid regardless. I do agree the cost should be less, and more options like single team. They have no reason to do so unless they made more money doing so.

Was a decent video. Elam will have a great year this year. Putting in the time this off-season knowing what a pro needs to do will only help this young man. Seems to have a great attitude. Dion isn’t in bad shape for such a big guy, but surely was winded from boxing. I get an o-line guy spars for 5-6 seconds at a time, but they need game long stamina also. He seemed to overreach when throwing punches, got off center of himself. I would hope boxing would help him develop close quarter “combat” skills.

That would be perfect.

I don’t need ST for Bills games. I use RZ on a separate TV to watch what’s going on around the league. If the Bills aren’t playing on Sunday, I don’t watch individual games just RZ. I would like a RZ only option. Would pay $100 for it if it still had Andrew Siciliano. Get RZ free with Scott Hansen for being a season ticket holder and hope that continues.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
davefan66 replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Meh. Don’t take much stock in Von knowing anything. He has talked a bit with nothing happening. I hope it’s purely his conjecture and not the Bills feeding him info. How many times can you go to the media that something will happen, and it doesn’t?? -
I wouldn’t put much into it, yet. From what we can glean, it does not seem Kim will be able to run the franchise post Terry. I hope I am wrong and that she recovers. If not, it depends how they structure ownership. If Terry were to pass, does it stay with Kim? If she is removed from ownership for health reason and he passes it goes to the estate and that is a huge problem with taxes. When they purchased the franchise, it was the perfect time. NFL franchises were selling for a lot, but not outside the reach of a guy like Terry. Now, franchises are selling for much more and that will definitely factor in to the Bills if Pegulas can’t keep based on health reasons for Terry and Kim. Not sure how they could structure a succession to the children without the huge tax burden. Hope I’m wrong, but seems to be what has been the problem for other NFL owners famalies. As far as the stadium lease? Most likely isn’t iron clad enough that some Uber rich new owner couldn’t fork over whatever fee to break the lease is. Paying billions for the franchise is certainly not going to stop them from paying millions to break the lease if they wish. Again, hope I’m wrong.

AJ Klein Expected to Sign with Bills
davefan66 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Like Klein. Wasn’t surprised he was cut last season, but would have rather of kept him. Happy to have him back. I’d guess the contract is team friendly if they are able to find an upgrade over Klein via the draft or FA. Don’t see this as an imminent, feel they like him enough to ride him for the season. -
If we had him mid season, we may be in the playoffs. I think his energy is helping feed this team.

No way Levi ever sniffs the minors. Dude has played extremely well in a pressure situation of the Sabres trying to make the playoffs. Quick legs and great reflexes. Loved how he challenged the shooter in the shootout attempts.
-
Is it about the money, or winning? Uncertain QB situation, why would he want to sign there? meh.

I considered trying, but like my seats. Sect 333 about 1/2 way up. Perfect seats, and like the people in front and behind us. Can see the Jumbo Tron and the two mini screens well, and have a good view of the whole field. Maybe would have moved down a few? But it’s a circus down there. People standing all the time. Clogged with people in the aisle.

NFL Network layoffs begin, ESPN layoffs expected
davefan66 replied to dpberr's topic in The Stadium Wall
Naw. Kay is eye candy, but she’s annoying now. She didn’t provide much football knowledge, but was decent at moderating the conversation. Jamie may not be as good at keeping the flow, but she is getting better. Seems down to earth and has more football knowledge than Kay for sure. I like her a lot. McCourty can go for sure. -
Always hated Norton antivirus. Absolute resource hog in the day. Preferred McAfee years ago, Avast. Liked Bitdefender when I first got it, got a virus on my Mac with it (wife and her goofy games). Avast started out pretty good and then became more difficult to keep up to date, slowed my computer a bit. Hate to say. I’m back to Norton. Still not a fan of it. It was one of the top rated when I got it a few years ago. A little slow, but not as bad as it used to be. VPN is pretty easy to use, unlike NordVPN. The issue you had with Norton and wondering if it was someone who worked on it is why I won’t use Kaspersky. Rumored to be a “Trojan horse” type of program. Probably not, just didn’t want to deal with it. As for LifeLock, never had an issue to need to use it’s features. I get notified every time we apply for an account.

Calais Campbell *update beane said no visit scheduled
davefan66 replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wouldn’t hate. Age may limit his on field time of course, I’d guess salary world be based on that? Probably not looking for a payday, looking for a true contender. I definitely would like Beane to get Philips back in the fold. Wouldn’t mind Shaq back at a decent salary. -
Didn’t offer that he should run out and get a Mac. Stated I’ve had few viruses with my Mac. I do agree with the rest of what you said, pretty much what I had suggested.
-
My concern is they installed a program that may not be picked up by standard virus or malware programs. I would update your virus protection and run a full scan. I’d then grab a free one and do the same to check twice (I’ve had different results with different anti virus programs), run malewarebytes (great program). You could look through installed programs and see if there is anything you don’t recognize, but I’d guess they hide it pretty well. There is probably some key loggers and such, but it seems like they have installed a back door into your computer that may not be seen by antivirus/maleware programs. Hope I’m wrong. You most likely will need to wipe the computer, stop all cards - especially those used on this computer, change all passwords - especially banks. I would also change the prompts that verify you , ie: “what was your first car” with those banks. Change anything and everything you used since this happened. Invest in LifeLock. Hopefully you have a recent backup of the computer. If not, you should get an external hard drive and manually transfer important files to it. Do this while the computer is not connected to the internet or any network. I would hope this would limit the ability for any malicious software to infect the external drive. If it is able to infect the external drive, it should be able to be seen by antivirus, etc. I know I don’t do a good job myself, but this is why constant backups are important. Importantly, there is no service that tracks if your computer has malicious software on it, no company that will cold call you to help fix your “problem”. Many, many people have unfortunately fallen victim to these scams. Having up to date antivirus and anti-malware on your computer, even if it is a Mac. I have been exclusively Mac since early 2000’s and have had a few viruses, they are not immune but far less susceptible.
