There is always more to the story… not sure it’s much more than what we see. I would hope if a player is detrimental to a successful offense, he’d be on the bench. I believe yesterday showed how good we are without him and have no issue benching him moving forward. If all a dude can do is “contested catches”, then he needs to be the 5th receiver used in the endzone or spread plays every so often. Honestly don’t believe he’s that good at contested catches anyways.

Wonder if he’s just saying what others are saying in the locker room?

Motivating a lost coworker versus motivating a NFL player are very different. NFL players aren’t going to coddle a dude who’s lost when it comes to being on time to meetings…let alone showing up. Coleman’s inability to do the right thing in the building, and on the field shows he lacks maturity. That’s on him at this level of pro sports and it’s on him to fix it. Not sure he can, and would much rather he be benched until he shows he’s a true NFL receiver.

Shavers should surpass what Hollins did last year. Feel he is a more natural WR than Mack. And if he gets more opportunities like yesterday, Josh should get more comfortable with him.

I believe coleman had been that bad that he ruined the right side for the offense. On the right side Shavers caught a long ball, blocked for a TD by the RB. Gave the offense a reason to defend that side of the field.

Today was the first time benched an entire game. My thoughts are McD may have had enough. Previously benched a series and a quarter I believe ( not in that order). He has to prove he’s better after this. Honestly, based on how we played without him, healthy scratch remainder of the season.

First time he was benched for the whole game. So feel the team has had enough of his act. Especially when he is benched and Josh had his best game of the season. If in fact, he truly missed and entire meeting? McD don’t play that game.

I kinda think Denver was going for a fake there. Punter seemed awfully jittery.

Shavers allowed Josh to utilize the right side of the field. That being said, trade coleman. Or just outright waive him. He’s had a few chances to fespond. Playing with Josh Allen. No need to see how he responds now. Being late to a meeting this week justifies cutting him outright. Has had chances. More than we most likely know about.

Can’t wait to rewatch knowing we win. Makes me less judgmental….
