I wonder if the fact the Steelers are without a legitimate QB and subpar playoff hopes helped push him back? Money is money, but at some point you want to believe the player actually wants to win vs a payday….doubtful.
-
Not sure what the Niners were thinking here. If they truly wanted to trade him, then trade him for whatever you can get. If the plan was to ultimately sign him, then sign him. Why cause animosity with the player, his teammates or future FA’s?? Makes no sense how they handled this.

I gotta say, a 7th round pick for anyone in the top two rounds is a no brainer…. Unless, they are a complete wash out. 3rd round QB? Why not.

Nope. Live locally so get all the games. Only reason I got ST was for Redzone with Andrew Siciliano. Now that he no longer hosts the DTV version, I pay $10/month on YouTube Tv for the current version. Love Redzone as it shows all the best plays without having to watch one game that may be a dud.

Andreessen on the roster?

To a team that is good and money. Don’t care about location as much, live where I want in the offseason and after my career is over I can live wherever I want full time.

Panthers @ Bills, Preseason game 3, Sat 8/24 1pm
davefan66 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gore would be tough to PS and not lose him. Not all preseason darling RB’s are at risk to be poached, but gotta believe todays game and his pedigree make him a wanted guy. Although, maybe they stash him on IR with his lower leg “injury” in the 4th. Andreessen makes the team, especially with Milano out it creates space at LB. I don’t think he would be on the PS long. Sounded like he just wants to be on a roster, doesn’t need to be the Bills per his post game comments. Wonder why he didn’t get any UFA looks after the draft? Hamler is not a lock for PS. Probably will because he knows the system. Although, McD did talk anout what a team guy he is, specifically willing to go in at RB. -
If Trubs is healthy, he’s the backup. If not, may be IR. Kyle Allen and Keenum if they are cut. Josh needs his “guys”. Watched the end of the 4th quarter and want to see how Brown looked. Thought he made some nice plays in what I saw.

Knows the system. No to him coming back…

Wouldn’t surprise me if they grab someone on waivers and Trubisky lands on IR.

NFL 2K5 Madden 1999 on N64 NHL 94 Have bought every Madden since back in the day. Used to love how there were measurable improvements every year. Now it’s rinse and repeat. Buy it now because of rosters. -
What's the deal with Mighty Taco these days?
davefan66 replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
Definitely not as good as before. Prices have gone up considerably. Honestly, Taco Bell is mostly better. -
I break mine out usually for a preseason game. Love the jersey! 😁

CFL Chad Kelly served 9 games suspension and requesting reinstatement
davefan66 replied to Saxum's topic in Off the Wall
Played very well last year, CFL MVP. Pretty sure he’s reinstated. -
Had a large above ground FantaSea pool that came with the house. 30x15. Great when the kids were young. Once they hit 13-14 years old, they stopped using it. Because of its age and need for repairs, we had it a year or so longer and then took it down. Would have made the repairs but the lack of anyone using didn’t make it worth it. Maintenance was kind of a pain. Hated winterizing and openeing. Unless heated, limited time in WNY to enjoy. Bought my wife a Coleman aluminum frame “pop up” pool. Cheap and actually pretty nice. Had for the next 6 years. Only issue is having to take down when it gets cold. Liner finally gave out and moved on to a hot tub. Hot tub maintenance is pretty easy and can use year round.

Bears @ Bills - Preseason Game 1 - SAT 08/10 - 1 PM

How about the hold prior to the pass?? -
Roku is a streaming device first. Offers a pay for streaming service second. Device only is fairly inexpensive compared to other devices and IMHO has the best interface. Roku device on Amazon Season ticket holders. Email was sent out last week.
-
I got rid of DirecTV and have Roku and Amazon Fire TV for YouTube TV. It really isn’t difficult. Roku is a great device and can do all your pay for apps like Netflix, Disney and such. Roku is actually a pretty inexpensive device. It does work great on iPhone and iPad.
-
I watch on my Roku devices and Amazon devices. Samsung doesn’t have an app. Can be wonky at times, but works well.
-
I love it. Don’t tape the game anymore, stream off the app. Also lets you see games from years ago (forgot the cutoff). Worth $60.

All of the new kickoffs from yesterday's HOF game
davefan66 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looks like it’ll be 25 yard line or so when returned, maybe a little more. As long as the receiving team blocks well, shouldn’t get less than that. Only kickoff that looked to be a problem was at the 50 second mark. Bottom of the screen blocker whiffed and blocked further downfield letting the edge guy stick the returner at the 20. Not a poor return, but if the receiving team holds their blocks returns should be just enough. Incidentally there was a flag on the play and not sure what it was for. Gonna be weird playing Madden on kickoffs now. -
Patch one hole, open another. As far as using minimal software, end users are most likely going to want every option available to them. As well as some network engineers. As far as Windows 3.1. It does look like Southwest uses it. My inclination would be 3.1 is being used due to a legacy reservation system. Surprises me the Microsoft hasn’t closed that hole, specifically there most likely isn't licensing opportunities by Microsoft on legacy systems rendering them unsupported. Doesn’t explain why the backend was unaffected by Crowdstrike unless they simply don’t use the product.
