Around the NFL, Dec. 10 & 11, Week 14 of 18.

Prettt sure that play by the Browns defensive back was PI. If it was a Bills player, for sure would have been. -
They are professionals and will continue to play. Doesn’t implicitly mean they support him. Anyways, it only takes a few to not play their best. Wouldn’t happen purposely most likely, but it is normal for people to not be their best under management they don’t like. Just look at everyday life. Regardless, this seasons results and the issues of the past should be all that is needed for Pegula to make a decision.

Knox active off IR, Klein released
davefan66 replied to BuffaninSarasota's topic in The Stadium Wall
You don’t. I wouldn’t expect much from Knox today. He was the guy under Dorsey, may not be under Brady? Honestly, I don’t want him in on crucial plays this game. Need someone who will make the play. And I’d expect a big dose of Josh being the REAL Josh today. Not the eunuch version. -

Go Bills! -
Dibs on Jack!!

National media has a way of dumping on the Bills. We will hear about the 9/11 comments longer than we should. The cap probably would get in the way of changing the players. Which shouldn’t be a thought anyways. If he doesn’t have the skills to be the HC, get rid of him. Especially if he’s lost the room, players won’t be able to make up for his inadequacies forever.

I agree. As suggested elsewhere here, Pegula needs to do his due diligence and ferret out the truth. If he has lost the team, then he has to go. If he’s a national embarrassment, he most likely will go. If the fans turn on him, tough sell for him to be back. No way you can spin this into something less damaging, especially the 9/11 story. I can’t see him coming back. The question is, if Pegula is of the opinion he has lost the team and the fans, does he immediately fire him or wait? I’d image he’d wait.

I have tried to be a McD supporter for all he’s done. Playoffs, changing the “culture”, many wins. But clearly, he has not had what is needed to push us over the top. I must say, if he truly is the guy portrayed in this article, send him packing right now. Appreciate what he did to start our ascent, but we need someone who can truly lead this team. Not waste one of the most physically gifted QB’s to ever play the game. Quite possibly the players are exhausted with him.

If this is true and Morse drew a Jordan logo on his boots, that’s an issue. Making fun of the HC shows you don’t respect him. If players aren’t respecting the HC, it’s time to fire him for sure. I’d really hate for our failure to get to the Super Bowl being McD. If he’s and issue I would hope Beane would have addressed it. Unless he has no say in the coach, as has been stated on these boards before. Kinda would like the players to and and get him fired. If we make the playoffs, it will be McD’s “doing” and save his hide.

Mac Jones misery (a salacious read)
davefan66 replied to co_springs_billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Under McDaniel the kid played well enough. When he was being mentored by an ex-defensive coach turned defacto OC, he regressed. Not saying he was a great, or even good QB. But agree if given the right coaching he could have been good enough. I, for one, am happy how billacheat mismanaged the team over the last few years and killed his progression. -
I get the cap concern. But if the Bills want to pony up the bucks, it isn’t as bad as it looks. Certainly the team wants to stay relevant, especially with the new stadium season tix (PSL’s) looming. One thing to remember is cutting players isn’t a zero sum game. Gotta fill that position with another warm body. And to stay relevant, those warm bodies need to be good players who may not come cheap. Filling the roster via the draft is a good way to manage the cap with cost effective rookie contracts. But impossible to know if those rookies will make meaningful impact.

What looks amazing is the number of NPC’s and how different they look. Cars also. Graphics look great, expect them to be a bit better by release. 3 large cities from what’s been said. Vice City looks insanely large! Looks like a great game and hope they bring back the single player DLC’s.

Here it is: VI trailer I guess it was supposed to be released tomorrow, but Rockstar was hacked. They decided to release the trailer tonight instead.

No thanks. Hasn’t proven he can get it done.

I agree the defense didn’t help last night. But the offense is culpable for sure. Some NFL games it comes down to which offense is better that game. Sometimes it’s a defensive struggle, and sometimes it’s an offensive shootout. We score a few more points, obviously, and this game is ours. Davis catches the ball and all game over. Oh, and Bass leaving 6 on the carpet didn’t help either.

Media has to make a big deal. All they do is follow the winners and try and look like they know what they’re talking about when that team wins.

Yet another choke job by the defense
davefan66 replied to Bermuda Triangle's topic in The Stadium Wall
We had the chance to score more. Missed two FG’s, Davis screwed a TD. -
I have no idea what the problem is. Coaching? I will say playing against the refs didn’t help.

Yet another choke job by the defense
davefan66 replied to Bermuda Triangle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nope. Not on the defense. Should have scored a few more times and it’s a moot point. Offense lost the game. Davis “miscommunication” lost the game. Period. -
Win or lose, we still had to win out. Wasn’t going to happen. Valiant effort. Defense played pretty well. Play calling was decent on offense. Season over. Need to make some smart decisions this offseason player wise and especially cap wise.
