The problem with a penalty like that is it takes the edge of the player. Afraid to be physical and draw another penalty. Poor PI/multiple PI does the same. As well as not calling penalties. It’s the refs go ahead to keep doing it.

How was that a penalty? He dropped the QB and followed through. No intent to injure. Did not drop weight in on him. Absolutely a BS call. Will be played at ref camp next year as an example of a clean sack.

Refs inserted themselves too many times on calls that could have gone both ways. Calls that are non-calls on many other games. Bills should not have let the refs take the “sail out of their winds”’ , but how can you not when it obvious multiple calls were BS. One penalty that deserves attention jets called for encroachment. Yet…there is a LONG ref meeting with copious amounts of refs jabbering to ultimately call an obvious encroachment. Why??
