  1. Just another day. Eating nothing special. Honestly can’t bring myself to watch and listen to the undercarriage cleaning mahomes will be getting.
  2. Franks. Used to have a hot sauce/BBQ store around the corner. Let you sample rubs and sauces before purchasing. Found a lot of good tasting sauces for sure. Bought and enjoyed quite a few sauces I’d never have tried otherwise. Like a sweeter/hotter sauce. Kinda zeroed in on mango hot sauces…delicious. Always comes back to Franks for everyday use.
  3. I’m in. Sent a PM
  4. Eli will most likely get in next few years. I feel the voters didn’t want to make him first ballot based on the entirety of his career, not counting Super Bowls. Fact is, he did win twice which does play into getting in the HOF whether people agree with that or not. Sharpe was a great player for a shortened career. Not so sure he deserves to get in though. Is he one of the top 29 receivers to ever play the game? I don’t know. I feel it’s close, as shown by how long it took him to get in.
  5. Interesting when you see small HOF classes. It’s not about getting seven guys in no matter what, it’s about getting the right guys in per the voters. Obviously, there is conversation around who is the “right guy”. Agree with the modern era guys, except not including Manning. Kinda thought beating brady twice in Super Bowls might have gotten him in. Especially beating a team that had not lost a game all season. Sterling Sharpe. Not sure how a guy who is number 109 in yards at 8,134 and tied for number 65 overall with 67 TD’s. I get injury shortened his career, but there is no guarantee he would have had a true HOF career.
  6. All the above? In 2023, he doubled the previous years sack totals for the Falcons to 42. So I’d say scheme is a big part of it. But…need to have the guys you can mold into the new scheme. No doubt we have guys who can do it, just need the “something” to generate the sacks. Lost our assistant dline coach and with this guys resume, assume that will be part of his duties. edit: Hired Jason Rebrovich as a defensive line coach.
  7. Soooo happy for him! And the team and the fans! I truly could not go the whole off-season with my last image of Josh taking that deep breath before he answered questions after the loss. Pumped he won and glad people outside of the organization recognize what a special player he is.
  8. They‘ll be inflated of course. Gotta keep charging bug bucks for those ads!
  9. Would trade for Kupp circa 2020/2021 in a heartbeat for 20 mill/year. Now? Not so much. If his cap hit was 8 or 9 million? Would be more attractive, wouldn’t give up more than a 5th for him. Problem is, as stated by a few others, we have enough slot guys. We need a field stretching outside guy. Someone to be a true threat down the field taking defenders further than 10 yards. Currently, defenses stack the LOS because they aren’t concerned about deep threats and clog up the short field. I’d much prefer the team work with Kincaid snd Coleman to make them better at their positions.
  10. ‘98 Bills V Patriots ”Just give it to them” game. First down awarded on a failed 4th and 9 and then a PI on a Hail Mary.
  11. Defended him. “Knows he had plays he wanted back, as do I” Talked about how injuries robs special teams of players who end up having to start on defense.
  12. Feel better. Nothing I can do about it, except move on… Although, whenever I see video of Josh after the game, or especially the deep breath at the podium I am saddened. Off-season thinking kicking in. Draft, FA’s on the open market, our own FA’s. Have done some reflection on the season and what went wrong, mostly through threads on TBD.
  13. Kemp? Absolutely not. Completely different era. Kelly? Had a great career. 4 straight was amazing. Not the best Bills franchise QB. Allen. Even if he never wins the big game, he’s the best Bills QB ever. One of the best the NFL has ever seen. Allen is only 42 TD passes away from Kelly in 4 less seasons. Allen is just over 9k yards less than Kelly. In my mind, it’s Allen and it’s not even close.
  14. Von was a move made to pressure QB’s, and more specifically mahomes. Move was made season after 13 second game. I was all in thinking he’d add good pressure to our defense and had 8 sacks before being injured his first year here. I believe if he wasn’t injured he would have had a decent first two seasons with us. That being said, he’s gone this off-season. I wouldn’t expect him to take a pay cut to stay, but could happen.
  15. Agree with what you said, except Cook. I want him to stay, love the guy. But I’m not so sure he is a priority for them. Resign Ty Johnson and you have Davis and Gore Jr. so don’t see Beane breaking the bank on Cook. Rousseau, Benford, Bernard and Epenesa are all FA’s in 2026. Josh last year of his deal is 2028. Also, fully expect a decent priced FA this year at WR, or defensive backfield.
  16. Josh would not support a move on from McD. Couple that with what you said, he’s not going anywhere.
  17. Thought he played some CB prior to Elam getting more time.
  18. Wouldn’t have mattered. They made sure they spotted the ball short of the line.
  19. In a better place than this morning for sure. Listened to WGR all day, commiserated with listeners and hosts. In the end, hate being where we are today. But had a heck of a season and was able to watch one of the top QB’s the NFL has ever seen play. its just a game. I still have to go to work and pay my bills. Will get over it and fall in love with the team all over again in September.
  20. Thought we had more cap space after the purge last off-season. Josh, Von, Oliver, Dawkins, Milano, Knox and Rousseau account for $151 million of cap space. Expected cap is $265-275. Cutting Von is 8.3 million in savings. Cutting any of the other guys would lead to negative cap space. Restructure Allen and convert base to signing bonus like last year? Bills cap space
  21. In no particular order- WR - Cooper is gone (as if he was even here to begin with). Coleman needs a lot of work. Gotta resign Hollins. Need a deep threat who can create space. Clean up the LOS with a guy who can take the top of the defense. D line - Von is gone, 8 million in savings. Gotta get a consistent pass rush. Need a huge space eater for interior line. D backs - Elam has got to go. No longer able to teach him how to be a competent NFL player. Hamlin is much more a backup than starter. Yeah, maybe he’s played well but he’s also late to plays a lot. Douglas may be done. Rapp and Benford are our best and should be back. Prefer to add in free agency to get a know entity, or possibly trade with draft capital. Drafting is the backbone of the team, but need a few great players who can make an immediate impact.
  22. It depends who is available TBH. If Andy Reid, Payton or McVay were available, that would be an upgrade for sure. Anyone else? Don’t see it as an upgrade. Issue is. This team is tooled for the coaching styles/schemes of our coaches, especially defense. Could see a regression based on the need to change out players to fit schemes.
  23. Is it scheme? Why can’t we generate a consistent pass rush? Epenesa has flashes, Groot looked to lose a step end of the season, Oliver had flashes. After them, what do we have? Probably cutting Von this off-season. Looks to be a little over 8 million cap savings. Following year cut would open 17 million.
  24. There were a lot off issues last night. Elam killed us, pass rush and containment wasn’t good. Cooper and Coleman were non factors. Brady wasn’t great last night. 4th down plays needed to do something other than the tush push. KC sniffed it out, yet he continued to call it. Hurt the team for sure.
