  1. Over the weekend got ready for my yearly dance with them. Called, asked for retention right away. Was upfront and asked what they could do for ST this year, and told ST Max was free. Guy also offered me $10 off hbo/max for 6 months. Done. Been a subscriber for 19 years, with a one week lapse when my wife talked me into TWC based on a home show deal about 10 years ago. I use it basically just for Redzone. My son though likes the ability to stream, although we have that now by being season tix holders (first year!). Used to call and threaten leaving. After a few years of that, realized they knew I had no intention. Now, just call and be honest. They have credits they can use, just have to call and ask. Once a year I call TWC (now Spectrum) and get a discount on my phone/internet without much hassle either. Again, they have the credits available, just need to ask.
  2. It's not spreading misery to everyone else. He has a history of off the field issues, and has admitted he hasn't tried his hardest. Dude makes millions (no, he's not Ko Simpson), no reason he shouldn't be giving it his all every time he steps in the gym, on the practice field and especially when its game time. I have zero respect for these guys who act like they are gods gift. Don't care how much talent you have, do the job and do it right. Same as I expect from anyone else.
  3. Honestly, let him rest a bit. No need to rush him back. Feel this is a little bit of been there, done that with this guy. Either he's injury prone, or just lazy. Hope it's neither, but believe it's the latter.
  4. Checked the website, get the following: NFL RedZone Mobile, GamePass, Season Ticket Member Fantasy Football, Sirius SM, TuneIn and Direct TV. Link : http://prod.static.bills.clubs.nfl.com/assets/pdf/2017-Season-Ticket-Member-Benefits.pdf link to NFL.COM explaining the benefits: http://www.nfl.com/themembershipclub edit: Just called Direct TV to see discount on Sunday Ticket. Told me it was already free, then offered me $5 off my current HBO and Cinemax subscription for 6 months. Woo Hoo!!
  5. First year season tix holder. Didn't know it came with Game Pass. It does come with Redzone too? If so, assume it's online to watch? Only reason I get Sunday Ticket is for Redzone. Live in Buffalo so don't need it to catch Bills games, maybe watched 1 non-Bills game ever on it.
  6. Usually get Sunday ticket for free, call and ask for retention department right off the bat. Just be honest, tell them you want it for free, and they'll work with you. DTV has SPIFs for everyone, just need to call and ask. Can use them for free HBO, etc.
  7. I know you said current player. That better no sad. Just got a Kent Hull jersey off of NFL.com. I'll wear this season with immense pride. Thing is, every time I get a new players jersey, they're gone. Lynch, price, McGahee, Owens to name a few. My favorites now are old school - Kelly, Bruce, Smerlas, Hull.
  8. Those will be great seats. Upper deck for me is best, able to see whole play develop, see downfield receivers that are usually cut off on TV coverage. Also, can see the main and secondary video screens for close up shots.
  9. Yeah, Terry didn't sound well as usual, but who cares? The guy gets asked some stupid questions that people know he won't/can't answer...what do you expect him to do. That being said, make no bones about it but Coach McD will have HUGE influence in who the new GM is. Pegs isn't going to stand up there and show his whole hand, never does as he'd rather not be roasted by the press. The question about if he is embarrassed about the "dead money" from coaches and management was ridiculous. We as fans need to be happy they eprealized they were not moving in the right direction in either organization. I'd much rather them fire who's not working, then be concerned whether the next hire works out. At least they took action with the Bills and Sabres.
  10. Just shut up Wingo about the patsies picks. Please.
  11. Those vikings fans had no idea it was John Randle announcing the pick. Dorks.
  12. Love the trade to get a 1st and a 3rd, and like this White kid!
  13. An he fits under the cap....along with the of others that we signed instead of Gilmore.
  14. Kipers hair is thinning. Ya'd think he would have a Lloyds of London insurance policy against that.
  15. Taping both, watching ESPN. That way I can go back and see what they say about the Bills on NFLN.
  16. Every year mass hype for moving around, taking guys early. Doesn't pan out. This year, a bit more hype, expect little movement.
  17. My choice is QB, if you believe in the kid. Tired of not having a QB, and feel we need to take best available by when we pick, or if we have a conviction about one trade up and get who WE want. The draft is not the only way to get players. I feel youcan fill any position via free agency, with QB being more difficult. Just draft the guy you want, do what it takes and get it done. Stop chasing your tail.
  18. Used to hang with friends, until my son took an interest in the draft, and now the Bills. Will be at home with good food and watching with him. Of course, some good beer to boot! Just not as much as I used to do.....
  19. Played in the same division with coach McD. Probably saw something he liked in him.
  20. Correct, TuneIn App. Much better than the WGR app anyways. The WGR app has never been real stable for me, seemed to drop the broadcast a couple at least once every morning when I listen.
  21. Find it difficult when any team moves, feel bad for the fan base...could have been us. Feel that there is a huge legacy of the Raiders in Oakland (except for the brief LA experiment) that will be lost when moving to Vegas. That being said, they have been playing in a terrible stadium for years, and the city didn't step up to the plate to extend a reasonable offer in the past. As a businessman, how can Davis not take what Vegas is offering? Plus the $$$ from luxury boxes/seats/PSL's will be huge. I'm sure he will pull off some of the same things Jones has in Dallas with monies that are not shared with the league. It'll be interesting seeing how long the love affair in Vegas lasts.
