  1. I’d like to see Hyde back just former leadership in the defensive backfield. Other than that, got a little younger and will have much more cap space next season. I don’t think Saleh is that good a head coach. Not too concerned about the jets.
  2. I’ll take whatever receiver is best for the team. The guy that has the best chemistry with the QB. The guy with the most football smarts. A guy who fits the offense, instead of someone you feel the need to force feed the ball. Hill vs Shakir? You’re really saying you’d rather have speed and the catches he’s accumulated, vs an unproven guy. My question back to you is, didn’t the Chiefs win the last 2 Super Bowls after jettisoning Hill? Could care less Hill caught 238 balls for 3,509 yard last two seasons. Josh can read defenses is not a take. Plenty of guys he’s gone against tout that as one of his strengths. Not my take as much as NFL defenders who’ve played against him. Guy like him can’t be as successful as he is without the ability to read defenses.
  3. I don’t believe there will be any big additions to the roster this year. If any, it will be low money guys. I could see Shaq back, along with Hyde. Other than that, Beane knows there are some limitations to our roster, but he is serious about the cap this year and will hit the field with guys he has on the current roster. Next year will be different with this years cap purge. But expect us not to spend like drunken sailors to keep the cap under control. For years to come.
  4. Speed is great, doesn’t win games. Ball control. RB’s who can get that 1-2 yards to keep the drive moving so the QB doesn’t get smoked. WR’s who actually CATCH the ball. O-line giving the QB time to set up and can block for the runner. Those are just a few things that help teams win. Speed wins? No, Dolphins can attest to that. You need smart players who play fast. Guys who can get open are more important than speed. Kincaid, Shakir showed they can do that last year. Need more of it. Josh needs to throw guys open, anticipate a little better. Having a guy who can win the contested ball is good, but that shouldn’t be how to play every down. Design plays to get the guy open. KC does a good job of that, kept a lot of drives going last year against us. Trade Josh?? His strengths are mobility, ability to read defenses, escape under pressure, strong arm for short and intermediate passes, team leader. The long ball offense has long ago died in the NFL, just ask the Raiders.
  5. Force feeding two guys the ball, one being a major diva, did not help this team. Them being gone helps the guys here get better. Shakir should only get better. Kincaid will only get better. Cook will see more balls. Coleman is better than people are giving him credit for. Would adding another guy have helped? Who knows. Should we have tried? Ultimately, Beane liked his own guys versus who was available. Shorter was projected 5th round by many. He was having a decent camp and preseason before being injured. Big guy/fast. Expect him to get a chance to be productive this year.
  6. Not a guy I saw us signing. Especially with the gambling suspension. Had a decent 1st two seasons, averaging just over 15 yards per catch. Caught 20 and 15 balls. Camp body? I’d expect Beane to make more moves if he feels it’s warranted. And if we have cap space.
  7. Rank how? Do a WR for WR rating? Naw. Plenty of good WR rooms in the NFL. Not all of them do well. Need the right QB making the right reads. Offensive coordinator calling the best plays. Offensive line allowing for plays to develop. Way more than to a successful offense than just having the best receivers. Oh, and having one of the top 3 QB’s in the league helps. Have to ask? What do you rank the chiefs WR room? Probably pretty low. Won the Super Bowl.
  8. 😂😂 Ya got me! Honestly, with the way Diggs and Davis disappeared late in the season it makes sense they are gone. Davis dropping passes? His contract was not in the best interest of this team. And if Diggs wanted out, what kind of teammate is that?? Fans can be unhappy losing productive pieces. It’s the NFL, this stuff happens. We will move forward.
  9. It’s not a popular opinion to believe the Bills WR room is better than last year. I think we are better this year for sure. Davis cost us with his drops last year. Love the guy, but was time to move on. Diggs is addition by subtraction. He was a locker room issue which was verified by a few people. Either way, both Diggs and Davis disappeared late last year. Harty and Sherfield were non contributors. Their fault? Maybe. first Offensive coordinator? Maybe. Shakir will have a breakout season. Coleman is going to be better than people think. Kincaid will be counted on for catches. Cook with the addition of Ray Davis will be more of a receiving threat. Samuel will be good. And don’t forget Justin Shorter. We will sign a a FA WR (per Beane) to fill out the receivers. Josh is our QB. We will be fine.
  10. Interesting we sign the punter who replaced Matt Ariaiza on his college team.
  11. ESPN had done a great job talking about our later round picks. They love Hardy.
  12. Yes! Will have to go to the Bills website tomorrow to listen to all these press conferences of our draft picks. Yes! a late 6th, early 7th will make such a difference on this team!!
  13. Concerned the way Bass played for sure. Drafting a player may light a fire under him? I feel he will come back and be better. Does need quality competition. As far as so many kickers going? Seems to me that teams have learned that kickers are important and hoping for your guy to sign as a post draft FA is a lot to ask for. And honestly, if you covet a guy, draft him. I'd rather take a stud at K in the 6th/7th than a low tier special teamer/camp body. I know it didn't work out for us last year, but drafting what arguably was the best punter in the draft was a great move.
  14. Why is that? Bass isn't going anywhere. Had a rough season, but isn't going to get cut.
  15. Nope. Regarding Worthy. If we didn't trade with them, someone else may have and they would still get him. Oh, and if you are concerned about handing them mahomes, it is what it is. We could have drafted him, no way to say he would have been good with us or we would have won a Super Bowl with him. Anyways, love Josh and no matter what would much rather have him than PM.
  16. Next years draft is not supposed to be very deep. Loading up on draft capital helps trade and get the guy you want in a thin draft.
  17. 😆 OMG! That beer hall chant was hilarious! If only I could have heard what they were saying!!
  18. I laughed harder than i should have! 😆
  19. Was kind of expecting them to take him because of his father.
  20. I think he can. I believe he has the skills and the work ethic. If I am wrong, its on me.
  21. We could keep going back and forth. I love they guy, clearly you don't. Made some great plays last year, check out his highlights. Fast, good YAC, catches balls thrown to him, holds on to the ball, always moving upfield when he makes the reception. Not sure what is not to like.
  22. Take a look at his highlights. You'll feel different about him.
