  1. Returning punts does not equate into being as good as Welker. Let me tell ya, if he was that good, he would be gone considering the Bills shopped him in the offseason. Some team would have jumped on him if he were that good. Unless the Bills were asking too much, but if he were that good, another team would have worked a deal. He may be great at punt return. Problem is we have a few other good PR's on the team. Roscoe can go. Would like to see him succeed, but with Owens in town and being hopefully a large part of the the offense, it ain't gonna happen.
  2. Good God! Maybe he's auditioning for his post head coaching career as a male stripper!
  3. God forbid her allegations are true. Not cool.
  4. Dude, way to channel DJ! I actually fell asleep halfway through reading it...
  5. What else can you say. Same interior since I was a kid, cold beer, and great Beef! And Steve's Pig and Ox a close second (catered a party for us once, really good!)
  6. Dan Snyder might. He's a turd collector.
  7. I don't like the NBC them music that sounds like music from Star Wars. I don't like that STUPID robot on FOX. I don't like the respect Madden gets, considering he is a shell of his former self. I don't likehow none of the announcers critique anymore. I watched an old 90's game a few months ago, and loved how Bill Walsh actually critiqued the coaching staffs and had some football sense. I don't like those graphics for other shows. I don't like how they advertise like "What a hit...now if you wan't to see another great hit tune in Monday night for Everyone Loves Raymond!" This isn't related to the broadcast team, but I don't like how a cornerback gets burned for a 20 yard pass, tackles the guy, and gets up pounding his chest! Or the linebacker who gets run over 10 yards downfield, happens to tackle the RB, and celebrates! I don't like Jim Nantz. I don't like how the studio team makes the games about them, and not the actual players playing. Actually, I don't even watch the pre-game stuff anymore, just absolute mindless garbage.
  8. If all you are looking for is wings, I agree! Best wings, awesome sauce and cold brew!
  9. For wings, Duffs is the best. Big, crispy, great sauce. Can't understand how everyone talks about Anchor Bar being the best. Small and pricey and not a good sauce. Only thing AB has over Duffs is a nicer restaurant. Italian - Santasaros on Niagara street. MUCH better sauce than Chef's, better prices and better food in general. Kind of a dive, but awsome food. Pizza - Actually it's been kinda tough finding a good, consistent pizza anymore. I would have to say LaNova is probably one of the better, consistent pizza's. I also find, and don't laugh, that Pesci's is pretty darn good. Hot Dogs - Ted's. Not that you can't buy a package of sahlens and grill the snot out of them yourself. Taco's - Might has been a shell (no pun intended) of themselves lately. The beef has a bit of a different taste lately, and they've seem to have gotten smaller. Subs - Just about anywhere. To do: If you've never been, maid of the mist is awesome. As is the Canadian side of the Falls. Have a picnic at the Gorge park in between the Falls and Niagara On The Lake. Nice enough park, but it has some great trails to get to the bottom of the gorge. Niagara On The Lake is a great time too. The naval park/harbor is a lot of fun. Did it a few weekends ago, cost 22 bucks for me and my two kids. An absolute blast. The Albright Knox is nice. The canal tour of the locks in Lockport is a nice afternoon. Bisons game. Letchworth State Park. Takes a little time to get to, but has some great trails and sites. Whatever you end up doing, just spend time with your kid and thats all that counts.
  10. A few years back Florio sold off his old website (nfltalk.com?) and joined ESPN. It was rumored he would not conform to the ESPN way of doing things and due to the inability to do it his own way ended up in a "bitter" divorce. Didn't last for more than 6 months. The "bitter" part is his seemingly endless vendetta against ESPN. (see Len "Pastabelly") Being a lawyer, I would believe he left himself plenty of loopholes to nullify the deal if he feels he's not able to present his material his way, without oversight by NBC, and go along his merry way.
  11. Well, I'm sure he's not quite the "guy" he used to be. Spent much of his time being "Tiny's" B*tch.
  12. The cap is at about 128 million, making the minimum about 107 million. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/foot...p.ap/index.html
  13. If you can keep him from snorting the 50 yard line, I say SIGN HIM!
  14. I was driving back from Morgantown, Wv. listening to that game. I picked it up about 10 minutes prior to that Bennett run back. All I can remember is speeding and pounding on my steering wheel!
  15. Wow. Must be a record for the number of posts started in one evening. Got a bit of time on our hands do ya?
  16. Has the physical tools, but the brain is mush.
  17. Maybe that's why Buffalo never resigned him. He played well, but would cost way too much, I mean 11 contracts and all.......
  18. Miss WNSA as the anti-WGR. I miss when Simon was good, and Schopp wasn't a j e r k. Remember Zig Fracassi? Thought he was pretty good. Loved watching the afternoon show on Empire with Brinson and Simon. Talked about local sports, saw great clips from games or training camps. Miss the heck out of both.
  19. Change of "residency" address, probably not were he hangs his hat.
