  1. As much as I feel your pain, I don't know how to respond. I just found out about LW and any hope I had for the MNF game is gone. I want to Billieve we'll win. Just don't know.
  2. In a surprise move, Wade, er, Jauron is starting Rob Johnson!
  3. Kinda bummed about Bowen. Liked what he showed in preseason last year. Probably didn't come back from the knee injury as well as hoped. Otherwise, no real surprises.
  4. Ralph has given DJ a last chance. What he does with that chance, is anyone's guess. Most people believe he will tank. What happens if he goes 10-6, playoffs or not? He will not be fired. If he goes 8-8 and makes the playoffs, he will not be fired. I think he will tank, and get fired mid-season. He may be another Kay Stephenson and laid the groundwork for a great team, but he has outlasted his usefulness for the Bills.
  5. I was thinking about that this morning while listening to WGR and they were bashing "Captain Checkdown". I know Trent missed a few receivers and really didn't toss the long ball the last few games. I place it squarely on the OL, the dude has happy feet because he does not trust them. Don't know if he's getting killed in practice also, but man, he looks scared and is pretty much convinced the longer pass won't be there before he even takes a snap. It's automatic, he gives a quick look past the line, then tosses it to the short receiver. They better figure a way to complete some passes longer than 5 yards, be it slants or whatnot, or this guy is going to the garbage heap quickly. It's going to be a long, long year....
  6. First, Schobel would not have started the last game if he were to be cut. Second, if he's not in the Bills plans, he'd be traded first. He's not going to be cut or traded. My "surprise" cut? Walker. Not this week, but as soon as Bell is healthy. Only a surprise as he was expected to take over the LT position, and did a fairly good job last season when Peters was a no show.
  7. Yep. Hope he only improves with more time. His speed was noticeable, kinda surprising actually. Just hope he can change direction quickly when he gets pushed outside with his speed.
  8. Agree. Only if it could be "Epic Fail".....
  9. I don't know if another owner would have kept the Bills in Buffalo this long. That said, my respect for Ralph kinda came crashing down this offseason with the handling of Jauron. Respect him for keeping the team in town, but have little respect for how he's handled the team in the last decade. Problem is, if we keep filling the seats, status quo rules. If you could spend $50 to make $200, or spend $100 to make $200, what would you do?
  10. I watched NFL yearbook of last season on NFL network the other day. Kinda interesting how many nice grabs and returns they showed of him. As much as I like Maxim, err, Roscoe Parrish, maybe it is time to let him just focus on returns.
  11. Didn't think of that one. Problem is, too far up the list. My guess is if Denver wanted him, they would have proposed a trade in the offseason and Billacheat would have certainly hosed them for a good draft pick for a player he planned on giving das boot to.
  12. He was on the sideline down 17-0, talking and laughing with whomever was next to him. It kinda piss3d me off. I know it's stupid, but what the heck dude, take it seriously.
  13. Actually, my bet will be Jim Haslett. Bring in an old Bill with a head coach track record. Best part (for Ralph) is he would come pretty cheap. For God's sake he's coaching in a semi-pro pro league, couldn't even land a coordinators position. For sure he will come cheap. Easy sell to the fans due to HC experience. Easy sell to Ralph dollar wise. Best of both worlds! I can see it know, a grand reunion!
  14. And?? It's only preseason, so the real offense has not been installed? The defense is running bare bones plays as not to give away too much for the regular season? Sorry, we really need to establish some momentum for the regular season here. Trent needs, or needed, at least one sustained drive. Get into a rhythm and at least toss an out pass, that actually gets to the receiver! Sorry, it's not ONLY preseason. It's practice for the regular season.
  15. I know Big Ben is a good, mobile QB, but WTF!! TACKLE HIM!
  16. Can't wait to hear how DJ spins THIS one after the game!
  17. Great, a short pass that went long. Just gives Trent more Fuel to keep tossing the short ball!
  18. Man, the only thing the no huddle is doing is giving the ball back to the opposition quicker.
