  1. What the heck was that? He pulled away just enough and kept it up.
  2. Gotta stretch the field at some point. Can’t let this defense control the LOS.
  3. Douglas needed to get in that hole Henry ran through.
  4. Thankfully I have the radio on and don’t have to listen to that POS.
  5. Would have preferred Cook to run on the next play instead of Davis.
  6. RIP! Very talented dude!
  7. Do you think Beane, who is super stingy with the cap, will open the wallet for a big money guy we have shown no need for? Hopkins ain’t cheap. Sorry. Look up our upcoming FA’s. Can’t be in cap hell when Rousseau, AJ, Shakir, Bernard and others all come due same year.
  8. I’m talking talent with Adams. About to be traded from his second team, just like Diggs, so may not be a culture fit. Talent wise he’s the only guy I’d want out of the potential available wr’s. Does Hopkins give us a better option than what we have? I don’t necessarily believe so. Who loses touches? 3rd WR? He’s not displacing Samuel or Shakir, or Kincaid/Knox touches. Not spending that much money on a guy who is at best WR 3 and 5th in line for touches. Most importantly, Beane is very cap conscious. Not making a large money move right now. Like what we have with our WR’s, TE’s and Cook.
  9. Cap space is everything. Can any of these guys fit under this years cap, let alone future cap? Josh is going to eat more and more cap as time goes and we will need to spend wisely. Have a few one year WR contracts and Douglas is a FA next year. 2025 is an issue for sure. AJ, Rousseau, Cook, Bernard, Shakir, Spector are all due. I don’t see how we fit all these and Allen and a star WR. The only guy I’d want out of the list is Adam’s. Can still ball. Hopkins does nothing for me. Just don’t think a highly paid FA WR is on Beane’s wish list. See us spending on D and riding Josh.
  10. Fair points. It will be interesting these next 3 games to see how much this offense has evolved. I feel we are in a much better place with this years offense than in the past. Brady did a great job game planning and prepping the guys for the Jags. Used motion to force mismatches and create good yardage. Different from Dorsey who seemed to rely more on Josh’s physical ability to run, and get the ball in tight spots. Sunday night Josh just needed to play within the game plan and guys were open quite a bit. Played a great game, but didn’t need to be a superhero. Just needs to keep creating good game plans moving forward.
  11. Echoing some things from the OP. Josh and the offense hitting on all cylinders the first drive really put the jags on their heels. They had to respect everyone on the field, and not just target one or two. Brady did a great job using motion to find the openings and Josh took them. He was in sync with th guys on pretty much every pass, except a long pass down the right to Hollins. Shakir. Guy had a great game. The one pass to the right where he just got pushed out of bounds, could have been a TD. He had an open field ahead of him. Had a few great catch and runs, and a spectacular TD. Definitely WR1 right now. Loved how smooth Coleman looked on his TD. Looked the ball in, and continued up field. Did a great job getting open and had some back end speed to get away from the defender. Looking forward to more from him. Dorian Williams and Spector had great games. Williams played lights out and looks smooth and natural out there. Has really done a great job as a starter. Had serious concerns about this duo, but feel much better now. MVS. The misses were not all his fault. Josh did overthrow one, and into coverage on another. Which is all fine. Stretching the field is very important to opening the run game underneath/quick hits that we ate on all night. We had a tough time last season with a compressed field because the defense wasn’t worried about over the top plays. These two will connect soon enough. Josh had a great game seeing the openings and getting it done. Looked free out there. Loved the smile on his face during the game. Watched a few plays where he could have tried for a longer play, but opted for the shorter. Once or twice looked like he was going to run, but hit the outlet guy and gained yards. Had a great game keeping within the system. Let James Cook! And they did! I love this guy. Always seems to get a few yards when you think he is done. Showed some terrific burst on a few runs, and nimble feet in a few others. Had a great game. Gotta give a shout out to Brady again. Called a great game and this offense was prepared for the jags defense. Had a great game plan. We had left the game at halftime because my back was jacked up. Missed the Mr. Brightside sing along. Love how much these guys love each other! Watching them sing and dance together was great! Shows how deep of a TEAM they are! Great game. Atmosphere was amazing! Reminded me of the playoff win against the patsies. Drive after drive for TD’s.
  12. No, I wouldn’t add Hopkins, or anyone else at this time. Team chemistry is everything. The chemistry on this team is off the charts right now. Win or lose, I’m sticking with the guys we have.
  13. Not in the least. Not sure what the cap implications would be, but have zero desire to add him to the roster. We have a group of guys that have gelled better than any offense we have had under Josh. Watching the team dance to “Mr. Brightside” shows me this is the most cohesive team we have had. I am not willing to mess it up with a has been who wouldn’t add anything to our team. Like I said in the offseason, and it wasn’t well received, Diggs leaving was addition by subtraction. Don’t need to add another guy who wants the ball. Keep the guys who are happy to distribute to everyone. #EveryoneEats
  14. Kromer is one of the best at his job. I don’t know he has OC aspirations though? Didn’t realize he was OC for the Bears in 2013/14. Cutler as his QB and got some heat for publicly ripping him. Don’t see any other OC experience for him. I wouldn’t be concerned he’s the guy Brady would go after. Figure he might reach out to a guy like Shea Tierney before Kromer.
  15. Could be. Could also be they haven’t watched him or played against him, yet they have an opinion of him.
  16. I have to say yes. McD defenses are great, this year playing very well. Yes, Babich is the DC, but gotta believe McD has a big voice in it. Brady had a great game last night. The first series he used motion to manufacture mismatches and get guys in the best positions possible. Did such a great job creating plays against the jags defense. Gotta give credit to how well the offensive line has come together. Kromer doing a great job. Line kept Josh clean all night.
  17. The whole first drive Brady used motion to manufacture mismatch and advantage. Watching plays develop off of the motion plays was great from the upper deck. Josh did a great job identifying the mismatch’s and making the jags pay. Such great game planning by Brady and great execution by the QB and the remainder of the offense. Offensive line had an outstanding game allowing plays to develop and keeping Josh clean, they were a huge part of the win.
  18. How can anyone believe Josh is overrated with plays like this? That is an incredible throw to that small of a spot. I guess he “used to bullseye womp rats back home in his T16”.
  19. He is a complete player. Cannon for an arm. Fearless. Can pick defenses apart. Strong runner. Linebacker mentality. Can throw in impossibly small windows. Team leader. Team goofball. These guys would follow Josh to the depths of hell. Love he’s our QB.
  20. Wondered about this. Saw him on the sidelines and his body language was he knew he wasn’t going in. Did kill it on the TD though. Nice play.
  21. That’s what I thought. You could tell by his body language he knew he wasn’t going in. Mad a great play on the TD though. Was open a play or so before on a pretty similar pattern.
