It’s not just younger people that use the app. Age range is from very young, to a gentleman who I saw yesterday who is 102.
Young people may be less worried about privacy. Shows when they talk about their hometown in their Tik Tok’s. Or wear their high school/college tshirts online. That’s not smart online activity. Safety issue, not data theft issue.
Whats worse? Thinking apps like Facebook, Instagram, etc. are keeping your information private. Just dug into my Facebook settings yesterday and there are a ton of settings to turn off targeted ads….just to turn them off. Facebook makes a ton of money off of your info. What about the daily data breach that involves your most important info? Stuff that is sold and can ruin your life.
Whats worse? Dancing or whatever on Tik Tok, or having your info harvested or stolen by apps you expect to keep you safe?
