  1. Yep. Would rather listen to him then 90% of the blow hard on ESPN football coverage.
  2. Andrew Siciliano is on DTV. Hanson does all other versions. Unless your saying you prefer Hanson. Naw. Andrew does a great job in stopping talking when he needs to. Brings decent insight and hype when needed. That being said, love the guy but not paying what I pay any longer to DTV just to be able to get ST.
  3. If Apple gets ST, I’d expect it to be the standard service as DTV has it, and then ala carte options. DTV has a much smaller base to work with than what Apple can reach. Anyone with a streaming device (TBD) can get the Apple version of ST, while currently only those who pay a monthly fee for base TV services and a dish on your roof can take advantage of the DTV version of ST. I could see the Apple offerings as team only, RZ only, a combination of those and all the games and services. Apple can offer ST to a vastly larger audience allowing them to price it several ways. Honestly will be a goldmine for whoever lands it that they can offer it to a wider audience than DTV. The NFL is ready to move on from DTV and will make sure the most lucrative ST partner will the one to get it. I see this as a major move by the NFL adding to their already huge network TV contracts. Myself? All I want is RedZone with Andrew Siciliano, dude does such a great job. As I live in Buffalo I get all the Bills games and love RZ to complement watching those.
  4. Yes. I called recently because of trouble with my bill. Told them I only stay with them because of ST and am most likely leaving soon. Dude could care less. Probably won’t be much in the way of ST freebies and discounts this season. Gonna need to bank as much $$$ as possible for the increase in cord cutters leaving them. I know I for one will be, especially with the ticket being so cheap on the streaming services.
  5. I like it. As long as it doesn’t interfere with the game, it’s definitely cool.
  6. Thought about this before. Feel he cut his teeth in the USFL and learned how to sling it there. Probably the best move for the 90’s Bills is he was exposed to that type of offense.
  7. Heck of a catch.
  8. Fantastic! Dude was on a serious trajectory. Too bad he passed at such a young age. Love, love his music. Swimming and Circles are companion albums and need to be listened to in that order. There is a video on YouTube where he explains it all.
  9. Probably wouldn’t have drafted any of those players anyways. Most likely would have doubled down and re-drafted Torell Troup.
  10. RIP Mac. 😔
  11. Well, they could close the upper decks and just populate the lower bowl and suites. Add seating, standing room wherever they could. That’s if the uppers are that bad. Not sure how it want addressed during the last renovation. Doesn’t make sense to play elsewhere, the cost of extra travel would be substantial. And that’s assuming home base is Orchard Park. If they were to move operations, that cost would be astronomical- offices, training equipment, put players up, etc. Not to mention a smaller venue, would equal less game revenue. As far as costs to rehab vs new stadium. Makes fiscal sense to build new just on the grounds of total cost over the life of the lease. Nothing to do with who foots the bill, or percentages. Rehabbing to league standards would be less costly now, but would cost more later. Yes, it’s better than before, but it won’t last as long as a new stadium, and probably would require higher yearly maintenance costs than a new stadium. And most likely would require total replacement before lease end anyways.
  12. I don’t believe that. If it’s the concrete that I’ve seen, fix it. If it’s steel, add supports. Might not look great, but could be done. How bad is it really? Cause I sit upper deck and it would really ruin my day if something happened during a game.
  13. I stopped in the Bills store today got my Von jersey and a cool Zubaz trucker hat, and talked to one of the staff. No idea if he is in the “know”. 1. Tearing down ECC South. 2. Construction won’t start this spring, but next. Parking this year won’t be impacted, next season it will. 3. He “heard chatter” that the Bills will need to play a season in a college stadium because of the current stadiums condition. Believe 1&2, not 3. I could see it being a problem for parking once the new stadium starts, but would it impact the ability to have games? Is the current stadium really that bad that they couldn’t dump a bunch of money into it for repairs? I’m sure the Bills would lose money holding games elsewhere and would make sense to keep our fans in the seats. Can’t say if the dude really knows anything, or just got his info from where we all do.
  14. How accurate is the chip? If in the middle of the ball, nose can cross and it wouldn’t register? How much leeway is there that would positively, or negatively effect a scoring call? As far as the rest, don’t care either way. Feel they are getting too involved in a tie though. 3 tries each? I understand the math behind it, but seems too much. Honestly, I’d prefer they play another full quarter, and if still tied then sudden death. Seems fair to me, but doesn’t fit TV schedules.
  15. Have GP also. Re-watched every Bills game at least once this past season during the week after, especially home games - miss a lot when attending. Not this one. Finally watched last Sunday morning. Watched until the last Bills score and that was it. Couldn’t stomach to watch the last 13 or OT. Yep, had a few drives we could have added to our score and didn’t. Disappointing. As far as best game ever played, Bills v. Chiefs is up there. Dolphins v. Chargers was an amazing game also. The Comeback is a great game, but has lost its luster after watching it so many times. An amazing feat for sure. Bills v. Patriots playoff is my personal favorite, but wouldn’t score that way on a national level.
  16. We need cap space for in season signings. I believe a few years ago we had trouble doing so. I would love to see Hughes come back. Dude can still play. Wouldn’t need to be a 2 or 3 down guy, just pin the ears back and rush the passer. Would love to see him end his career here with some nice hardware!
  17. GMFB used to be much better when Burleson was on it. Burleson had true football knowledge and was always even keel, didn’t need to have a schtick. Kay - plays up to her looks. Constantly putting her hair up or down. Seems to be noted now. Shrager - too much the guy with the “hot takes” now. When he does honest reporting, he’s good. Like the dude. Brandt - gotta love a national media person who holds the torch for the Bills as he does. Problem is, dude embarrasses himself with his exasperated antics. Running around and won’t finish until he is gasping for air. Like his Angry Runs, but chill dude.
  18. No way they would break up Josh and Diggs and not tick off Josh. No way they were doing to trade him. Glad to see they got it done! Edit: I bet this creates some salary cap room. Nothing to run out and buy another FA, just breathing room to sign draft class and take care of in season signings.
  19. They did. I was at the game as a 14 y/o selling pop and candy in the stands. Back in the day (not sure if they still do) when groups would man the concession stands and make money. I belonged to a local Drum Corps that did just that for the game. I remember they took the goal posts down and dragged a large chunk up the stands in the end zone opposite the scoreboard. I can’t recall if they actually tossed it over the edge, but don’t believe so. Pretty sure that was the intention. I remember the crowd being absolutely crazy after the win.
  20. That’s what I was thinking.
  21. So. Hated we lost Levi. Watched the patriots playoff game and the Chiefs playoff game this weekend. Man, Levi did not have play well in either game. Dude was slow, held a lot (not much called though), and plain was not that great. Hope Dane or Tarron step up and can viable CB2’s this season. Or a FA..
  22. Ya know what? It’d be cool. Dude can still play. Better than Levi for sure. If he needed to hold down CB1 for a bit, no problem. Would like for him to lose the attitude and be a team player though. All in baby!!
  23. Well done tribute. Rick was very well spoken. Have not watched games for years. It was definitely cool to hear and see old footage and play-by-play. RJ is one of a kind. Just a fantastic announcer. Will miss him. Does anyone know if RJ will be calling any of the game?
