Feel we probably go 50/50 offense/defense tonight. Tonight as far as offense I see o-line, WR or RB depth in that order. Defense would probably be LB depth. Not a ton of holes on this team. Maybe we use some draft capital to move up or grab a pick in a higher round. -
Kyle Brandt will announce Bills 3rd round pick
davefan66 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
LOVE that shirt! Gotta get me one! Love how the Bills have embraced past players. Especially love how many past players are rooting for these guys, really cool. As far as Brandt goes, he may be a bit dorky at times but its cool when national sports people root for our team. I’d much rather hear him champion the Bills then other dudes who just recycle the same old anti-Buffalo crud - lost 4 in a row, nothing to do in that town and of course the snow. -
Gordon. My guess.

The guy does prep and is unapologetic about his missed picks. Bet his batting average is better than a bunch of NFL execs. McShay on the other hand doesn’t seem to prep at all, just grabs on one or two players and rides them to the end. Feel his prep is reading others mock drafts.

NFLN. Can’t stand Greenberg. Although I like Kiper. McShay is a tool.

Can’t wait for tonight! Don’t expect fireworks by Beane and Co. With BBB, ya’ never know!
-
Not surprised. Daboll and the new regime want to make the team their way. Feel they have to draft a QB now as insurance if Jones completely implodes this season. Just don’t believe there is a true franchise guy out there. Will be interesting if they grab a guy and see what Daboll does with him.

😂 I also think he knew there was going to be competition at CB and he wasn’t guaranteed a starting job by resigning. Good dude, good player in the right position. Just not full time starter. He was not good in the playoffs. Might be what they are looking at for sure. Although, any way they can stock the team to get to 90 for camp, they will do. And you never know if a 4th round guy excels. No matter who’s on the PS, they are at risk to be plucked by another team.

Even though it’s supposed to be a deep draft this year, it’s pretty top heavy in the first round. I agree Beane may drop back or out of the first round. Trading back gives them more picks = more players. Not like it used to be we when we needed to load up on as many players as possible because our roster was so weak. These guys will be backups and PS. We did get raided for a few players on the PS last season.

Maybe. But he must have been at the bottom of the list to keep if a gadget RB is who kept them from resigning Wallace.
-
I don’t see them going RB, it will be the best CB available. Unless there is run on that position and there isn’t a 1st round graded CB left. Yes, Tre injury plays into it. As far as Wallace, I don’t think the Bills tried too hard to keep him. His play in the playoffs was not good. And let’s not forget about Taron Johnson. Got a nice pay bump last year and is scheduled to make 4.5 million this season and Levi’s on the Steelers books for 2.5 million. I feel if Beane wanted to keep Wallace, that move would have happened early last season. Instead they paid Taron.

Better Call Saul - final season April 18,2022

Whatever happens to Kim, it has to fit within the constraints of the BB universe. She’s not there, and never a mention. I don’t feel she gets killed. I feel Nacho dying was the big hit we get this season leaving us feeling anything is possible with Kim. -

There is a picture of those in that scene on the internet. Didn’t realize the significance to it. I also held out hope that the throw away line meant Nacho survived. Interesting part of the prequel is we know who makes it out of BCS, except Kim. I do have a theory on what happens to her. I’d guess the Saul’s mansion with golden toilet was bought with the sandpiper money. What an amazing episode. As much as I held out hope for Nacho to survive, it did feel like it was a tribute episode throughout giving Michael Mando a chance to show off his acting chops. Loved how he came clean on switching the meds, didn’t expect that. Hated how he died, but it figured into the premise TBH. I was almost as stunned by how he died as I was when Han Solo died. -
Not surprised, feel she has been mailing it in for the last few months. A few years back thought she was knowledgeable, then she turned into someone more intent on flipping between her hair down, or in a bun every other camera shot. Im good with her going, hasn’t added to the show for some time. Bonnetta? Don’t see it. Doesn’t have chemistry with Shrager and Brandt. Seems too frenetic for the show, which is really Brandts schtik anyways. Colleen Wolfe seems to me to be the right replacement. Probably sit a handful of hosts in the seat until they choose. Anyone but Bonnetta.

14-0 Breakers over TB. No fans in the stands. Edit: finally showed the stands better. Couple hundred fans. Decent drive by TB to get a FG. These guys could have used a few more weeks to gel. Offenses seem a bit disjointed.

Better Call Saul - final season April 18,2022
davefan66 replied to davefan66's topic in Off the Wall
Just sat down and watched. ***Spoilers*** Loved the opening. Maybe a little over the top with how absurd the decor was ie: the toilet, but I’m sure this season will explain more. Love Kim. Still feels a bit stretched how she wants to go after Howard and how she accepts Saul’s bad side. Feels a little forced, but has to happen. I do have a thought on how she isn’t mentioned in BB. Won’t say it here, don’t want to ruin anything if I’m wrong or right. The whole Nacho thing at this time seems weird why Gus would cut him loose. Shows a miscalculation akin to how Gus tolerated Walter’s actions in BB that always seemed to be a stretch then. No way a cold/calculating guy like him would ever have allowed what Walter to do him like he did. Would have had multiple back up plans, not just Gale. The Twins. Felt a little weird the emotion they displayed when the found the burnt corpse and when the one guy spoke later on. Shows how important they Lalo is to them. Kettlemans. Used them as best they could, now their involvement is over. Problem with shows like this spanning so many years is how the characters age. Most look good, but Betsy sure put a few pounds on and Gus’s henchman Tyrus aged a bit. mike looks good for BCS, sure has aged since BB. Great episode, wanted some more oomph because we’ve waited so long. Have to remember there are a bunch of episodes remaining. Love it! -
Ditching DTV shortly, and most likely going with Spectrum streaming based on price, channels and all locals. Looked at YouTube, Sling and a few others. YouTube would be my 2nd choice based on channel offerings. Next week I’ll be previewing all of them to see which I really like. I believe Spectrum is 1080. Any issues with picture quality? I will jump to the next level internet speed to stream better.
