Thought Bates played well in the plays he focused on. Would have liked a more in depth analysis over several games. That being said, o-line play improved when he stepped on the field. Glad he is back! I do wonder if the mistake of letting Teller go forced Beanes hand in making sure he resigned Bates? I know it’s been analyzed on the board, but feel Beane slid into his resigning. Kid deserved more than a one year deal and a bump on pay. Feel it was inevitable he’d get paid.

Amazing effort by all organizations involved. From the pro teams, to those who cooked and provided the food, to anyone who helped. I hate when people who have no idea what our community is about spew vitriol regarding “no jobs”, “snow” and “lost 4 in a row”. That’s not Buffalo. This is what makes Buffalo the community it is.

And 3 of the first 8. A a ST holder, was hoping for a more balanced home schedule in good weather. Was brutal last year at the end of the season. On the other hand, home field for a lot of games at the end of the season. Either way. Can’t wait for the season to start! Go Bills!

Incredible. Nerves of steel to pull that off.

Have been a ST holder for 6 years. First 4 years received 2 plastic ticket cards and a Bills flag in a box. Also received some money on a Bills Bucks card. Have gotten Gamepass for free for the last 2-3 years. Last 2 years, nothing in the the way of a flag or tchotchke. Disappointing actually. Wanted the card last year, but didn’t see the email communication about it. Digital is fine, but like the card as a souvenir.

For the love of god, can he please just go away?? -
Wear an Apple Watch daily for work reasons for the stop watch function and also for notifications so not to be on my phone all day. Bought a Series 1 one years ago and really never used it. Had a period of high heart rates and bought the Series 6 for the ECG and pulse ox functions. Both work rather well. Have a decent analog for the rare times I wear a suit. Used to be a diehard Timex Expedition guy. Stylish enough and tough enough for work. Things lasted forever.

Better Call Saul - final season April 18,2022

What a great episode. BB and BCS world starting to come together. Mike meets Kim was an excellent scene. Almost as if both of them know the inevitable. Connected. Saul gets his office. Weird the whole tunnel and biking couple. Loved that “spooge” made an appearance before he gets his head smushed by the ATM. Subtle tension throughout. Waiting for the the other shoe to drop. Very well done. -
I see what the Broncos did, which we’ve heard before about the Chubb pick. Kinda surprised they don’t tell each other. I guess the moral of the story is, unless your targeting multiple people, don’t trade the pick. Am I missing something? Baker went first overall and want available. He would have had whoever wasn’t drafted, Rosen and Lamar.

Pretty sure PED’s and other substances run throughout the league. Not surprising. Edit: forgot about Hollywood Brown. Maybe they should have kept Kirk?

Rd 6, Pick 180 (1): Punter Matt Araiza, San Diego State

Beane seemed to be honest when he said Haack will be given every chance and he’s better than he looked. Don’t think it was fluff, nor a move to push Araiza. I feel Araiza will be given a shot also, even lower round draft picks get the benefit of being drafted. Certainly won’t be handed to him. Holding is obviously a concern. I felt like the job was his unless he bombed totally. Now see it as 50-50 he’s day 1 starter. Flipping the field is certainly something Bills would be looking at. Kickoff’s may be another reason they like him. Perhaps he makes the team as kickoff specialist? Doubtful based on the rotation on the d-line and need for depth elsewhere on game day. -
Had them for since early 2000’s. Recently got a $50/month credit, still too much compared to cord-cutting options. Calling them soon and seeing how much I can lower my bill further and get the ticket. Doesn’t work, moving on to Spectrum most likely. Even though I hate spectrum dearly.

Pretty sure McD had to hold his own notebook in front of himself when getting up! Flashback to 5th grade problems.

Elam by far is the best, because he’s a he first rounder. Dude will be starting. My favorite outside of Elam is Shakir. Feel this guy has all the tools to be a starter. Looking forward to his development. Next fav would be Bernard. Feel this is a sneaky good pick. Loved his presser. One that I got way too excited about? Araiza.

Liability. Even though he would willingly sign a contract, the team who signs him would be turned off by the liability issue.

Rd 5, Pick 148 (5): WR Khalil Shakir, Boise St

Seems to have good acceleration. Like how he concentrates and tracks the ball on the longer passes. Seems fluid. Good hands from what I’ve watched of him. Then again, they don’t post the bad stuff on YouTube, etc. Either way, like this kid and believe he will be a great fit in our offense before the end of the season. -
Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia

He seemed restrained. No problem there. Said how excited he was. Young kid, give him time to acclimate to the press. Take a look at some of the pictures on the Bills website. Smiling when not in front of the camera and looking more comfortable. How could he not be excited to play with Allen, Diggs and co.? -
@Logic Thanks for the overview. I love all the picks now knowing all that were made. Top end was great - very good CB as a need. Excellent back to help take the pressure off of Josh when he gets in trouble. Linebacker who is a tacking machine, and a real gamer. WR who looks like he could be a top 2 on the team with some time, and has great hands, fluid and can track the ball really well. Punter who is honest about what he does well and what he needs to fix. The remaining players, hope they add competitiveness. Overall, great draft. Not a draft for glaring needs and thats how it was handled. CB was the pick most of need and they killed it. Love the fact we were drafting from the perspective of a team who could truly take BPA versus a team that needed to hit on every pick as we did in past years.

Important to know how the stats were compiled. Total # of punts and field position would be very important. A lot of what they showed by Araiza were punts from the wrong side of the field. Makes sense when punting from your 10 to kick the heck out of the ball. Your 40? Different kind of kick. Love the kid, hope he is here for many years to come!! -

Watching his zoom. I love this kid! Smart and well spoken. Has taken the time to learn how to hold from former NFL pro kickers. Also has taken the time to practice directional kicking. Cool.
