Been reading this thread for some time. Kinda got me excited about watching the Sabres again. Watched a few games over the last few weeks. At times they look decent, kinda fun to watch. Other times, many times, they look over matched. It would be great if they make the playoffs, concerned it would be a quick exit though.

Waiting for a Buffalo date. Hopeful.

Seeing Chicago at Turningstone and Billy Idol at Niagara Fallsview. Pretty pumped for both. Would love to see Peter Gabriel.

Huge fan of N64. My favorite console for sure. Goldeneye N64 best game ever. Since then, Xbox is my console of choice. Still love my N64 more. Have a switch, it’s meh.

Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
davefan66 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t believe any player would do that. Wouldn’t want to make a precedent. -
I like Edmunds. I like not having to make changes. There was no way were going to pay up like Chicago did. He got paid for having a great season last year. Stat wise, similar to previous seasons but he was more aggressive and first to the play more. Although he was still out of position many times. As far as “trending up”. I’m not a fan of any guy whose best season happens to be a contract year. I don’t know if TE will continue this upswing, or rest on his laurels now that he’s paid. A lot of guys have done nothing after getting paid, no motivation.

Bills have shown interest in Lavonte David.

Milano is a better player than Edmunds. Edmunds had a knack for being out of position quite a bit at the POA. Got pushed around some and was late to play when the tackle already occurred. Yeah, he may have had a better season last year, but I don’t put a lot of stock in how good a player is in the last year of a contract. I’d like to see a vet guy who can hold the position for a season or two. Maybe we have Edmunds replacement on the roster now? Maybe we draft a guy. -
I feel Edmunds was getting more than what we were willing to pay from someone. If we could have fit him in, we would have had nothing left to fill other positions with veteran guys. We have to get a serviceable safety, MLB and hopefully a WR. All need to be 2nd tier pricing. If we don’t get these guys via FA, we will need to have a hell of a draft. We could restructure more contracts/trade. These have a price tag associated with them and Beane would need to land the right guy(s) at the right prices to do it. AFC East? Patsies aren’t doing anything that worries me, phins adding to their defense and jets possibly landing the packers offense. We need to make improvements ourselves, can’t just stand pat with who we have, but don’t see any big moves.

Yep. Whatever happens, happens. We most likely aren’t getting any of the players TBD wants. If we have 15 million, that leaves 5 million for the draft class and 3-5 million for day to day season cap. Not much left over for signing free agents. Especially with the holes we have at WR, safety and LB. Won’t see restructures unless BBB knows he is going to land a guy, or two. He said it himself, don’t expect a lot in FA this off-season.

Wonder if his stay in Philly was to show he’s a team guy and learn for a year? As for comp picks. I’d like to get that 3rd round pick, but we do have some big holes to fill at MLB and safety. If we blow it on filling those spots, that’s fine. Probably not for a backup QB.

I love the guy, mentioned earlier in the offseason I’d like to have him. Big question is does he fit in the QB room? Is he a contributor to helping Josh? Not that he’d be a distraction, but wonder if he’d rather go somewhere he has a chance at playing time?

Gardner Minshew. Love his attitude. Not sure how good he is.,

Sorry to say, our offensive issues are not squarely on the shoulders of our LT.
-
Why would we make him a guard?

Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR
davefan66 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would he request a year off, if he wanted to move on? No need, his contract is up. He is no longer under contract this offseason. Can leave and do whatever he wants. If another team wanted him and he wanted out before the contract was up, they would have let him go to pursue other things. -
Plan on keeping my seats. I’m upper deck so PSL’s should be at a minimum. If ticket prices are unaffordable, I’d grab a season at the very least and see what happens next. Don’t know how opting out at a later season plays out with a PSL. Are they transferable? Or does the organization get in on it and force new owners to purchase PSL’s and you are out of luck with what you’ve spent. My worry is seat distribution. Do you get a shot at your own seats, or as close as you can get (knowing the footprint is different)? Or is it by seniority and the higher senior ticket holders can choose seats anywhere? With PSL cost, will those in the lower bowl choose upper deck because of lower PSL cost?

8 teams and they couldn’t not replicate colors? San Antonio and Orlando are literally wearing the other teams home and away uniforms.

Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
davefan66 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just don’t believe Jackson is worth I’d rather the Jets get Lamar. I’m not scared of either of them, the least being Jackson. Jackson is an exceptional athlete, but he is an average QB. I just don’t think he is a good enough QB to warrant contract numbers greater than watson. To that end, I definitely don’t believe watson is worth his contract numbers either. -
Lynch is not good.

Kinda like this Borghi kid.

Exactly, why not? 1 point extra points are going nowhere so far.

Missed what they said. Looked it up. They must kick the ball between the end zone and 20. If not, goes to the kicking teams 45. Severe penalty for not kicking in that 20 yard zone. Meant to increase KO returns. Also they line up and can’t get a running start to help decrease injuries. Found a good link. Kicking rules

Thought there may have been a little bit of a bobble. Blandino said couldn’t overturn the call, a TD or an INT. Need to look up the kicking rules. That KO that resulted in the ball not going past the 20 and ending up at the kicking teams 45. Weird. Also, the Houston helmets are distracting for sure. Dark one side, white the other with a swoosh of red at the bottom.
