  1. Hollins blocked 2 guys by himself on that 3rd and 5.
  2. Isn't that what you want to be saying about a CB?
  3. If it was 4th down I'd agree. It was 2nd, if you get a half yard you do it again. They aren't stopping Josh from getting 1.5 yards when he has 3 chances to get it. We are absolutely GOING to get a TD every time we're within the 2 yard line on 1st or second down.
  4. Hard to say if the above is correct, but we certainly aren't going to find out by NOT playing Milano. We also certainly shouldn't have expectations of him being an All-Pro the minute he steps back on the field. Anyone who has a problem with inserting him to get him up to speed is just wrong at this point in time.
  5. When the Bills scored with ~9 minutes left in the 4th, I was feeling the same way as you. I said I don't even care if we lose at this point, it is so much fun watching Josh play QB and it's amazing he's even gotten us into this position. My mood took a 180 when the coach made indefensible (in my opinion) end-of-game decisions. In the grand scheme of things, the loss isn't that important. But man, it's hard when an all-time performance by the QB isn't maximized by coaching.
  6. The priority is giving Milano the opportunity to prove he can still be the all-pro version of himself. It's going to take more than 2 games to get there if it's possible. Not giving him all the reps he can handle would only delay his ability to get up to speed after a year and a half.
  7. I just saw a report that McDermott was rushed to the hospital due to shortness of breath and an increased heart-rate after the game. They did some tests, and found that his skull was completely numb. There is no known cure.
  8. Why would you not try the onside kick in the second instance?
  9. I understand your reason for saying that as a fan of the Bills having watched the game. If that is the mentality of your head coach, it's a problem.
  10. This is what I keep coming back to. How does a 50+ year old man who has played and coached football his entire life, and has been successful enough to become an NFL head coach, not understand what the correct decision-making is here? It is so completely obvious. It isn't even complicated.
  11. Then you are fine saying the only chance you are going to have is a successful onside kick rather than either a successful onside kick OR getting the ball back with limited time after being able to call 3 defensive timeouts. I don't need to do the math on it to know which one is better decision. Again, it isn't subjective.
  12. McDermott's press conference happening right now is a disaster. He doesn't understand.
  13. It sure is fun having Josh Allen as the QB of the Buffalo Bills.
  14. Your job as the head coach is to maximize your ability to have a chance at that point. He made sure they didn't with that timeout decision. How difficult is that to understand?
