  1. definitely trading back. I'd take the Tampa deal and I even consider trading back again from the #13 position that Tampa sent us for #8. This draft is deep in positions of need for the Bills and we want to grab a QB. I truly believe whatever QB's are on the board at #8 wil lbe there til the 20's. We can offset the gamble on a QB and grab plenty of quality players to boot.
  2. Tebow is a distraction, he brought it on himself and I look forward to the day he is out of the league. he chose to be a polarizing figure, and nobody really wants him for a reason. the Jets will have to cut him, and even if he is cut and offers to play for free I don't want him.
  3. My 1st HOPE is we trade back and gain more picks in the top 100 but depending on whether a QB needy team in the top 7 trades back behind us, or if the Jets get an extra 1st for Revis I would go with Geno Smith at #8. If no QB needy team in the top 7 trades back and the Jets dont' get that extra pick I would trade back regardless who is on the board What I do not understand is how a 5' 8" 175 lb WR is desired. I like Tavon but he is going to take a beating in the NFL, and he is going ot have a hard time beating the JAM at the LOS at the NFL level
  4. Hell no. Freddie doesn't have that much value at his age. You would not get a 2nd rd pick you'd be lucky to get a 4th he has much more value to the Bills
  5. How much money do you really think is going to be sitting around this season. We still have to get Byrd signed long term, we have rookie contracts yet and we only have about $13 million left to spend, and I bett he farm we wil bring in another FA or 2 at other postions http://www.spotrac.c...-bills/cap-hit/ And the Revis cap hit would not be 1 year it will be the next few years, and it will force us to make tough decision on other players and positions in th ever near future. Not to mention the price in draft picks. Why would anyone in their right mind pay Revis $15 mil a season and give up a boat load of draft picks to do so. Force the Jets to cut him
  6. the 1st few days of free agency has become the new pre-CBA1st rd rookie draftee debacle. Accept teams are willingly doing this to themselves. The smartest thing to do is to avoid the 1st few days of FA every year, and I for one will not complain if the Bills continue to do that.
  7. One thing Buddy has done was constantly bring in some young OL as depth andto groom. We have a few OL on roster that are ready to step up and in. LOTS of 1 year and 2 year players that might be ready to make the big jump 74 Brown, Colin C 6-7 326 27 2 Missouri 70 Wood, Eric C 6-4 310 27 4 Louisville 60 Urbik, Kraig G 6-5 324 27 4 Wisconsin 68 Williams, Keith G 6-5 330 25 1 Nebraska 75 Hairston, Chris LT 6-6 330 23 2 Clemson 64 Eckerson, Hutch OL 6-6 310 25 1 South Carolina 62 Grant, Adam OL 6-6 320 26 1 Arizona 72 Sanders, Zebrie OL 6-6 318 23 R Florida State 73 Scott, Chris OL 6-4 320 25 2 Tennessee 61 Snow, David OL 6-4 305 23 R Texas 77 Glenn, Cordy OT 6-5 343 23 R Georgia 66 Welch, Thomas OT 6-6 300 25 1 Vanderbilt 79 Pears, Erik RT 6-8 316 30 7 Colorado State 71 Young, Sam RT 6-8 316 25 3 Notre Dame
  8. keep in mind this is at the tail end of the combine and these players have been pushed through 3 solid days of little sleep and a 100 interviews. One thing is for sure. Geno Smith is a very intelligent guy. Then Geno is a great pick up at #8 for the Bills. He ran a up tempo Offense at WVU, he made on field adjustments, and he had success doing so. The Bills will be running an up tempo west coast spread hybrid, and Geno 's accuracy and college experience make him a good fit for Buffalo and I don't want Tyler Wilson in any round
  9. LMAO.. that's funny. I could see him out there with a can of lighter fluid trying to keep the Ralph lit there a too many solid play makers to be had at #8. We have plenty of young G's on the roster. No chance of this happening
  10. but they have plenty of holes to fill outside of QB, and Gabbert is still $7 mil dead cap money to cut this year.
  11. I have no issue with a FA QB pickup no matter the name
  12. the only teams desperate for a QB are in the top 9 teams in this draft. I'm pretty sure the Jets are not going QB at #9 so IMO the Bills can move back to the 20's and still have the same pick at QB they would of had at #8. however if the Bills wait till pick #41 then the teams in front of us wil start the run on QB's left and th eBills will only have what's leftover, and that is not an option for this team.
  13. it all comes down to coaching. If Maronne is a good coach we have no chance at top 5. Also there have been plenty of QB's drafted in the mid to late 1st rd that are having solid NFL careers. Many of those QB;s had the exact same concerns as the QB's in this draft. Flacco, Rogers, Roethlithsberger, So as much as anyone wants this draft to be this ridiculously awesome class of QB's the fact remains there is a huge probability that a few of the QB's in this draft will go on to have pretty solid NFL careers
  14. I fully support these players coming out. There human beings and deserve to be happy in life. What I find funny is how many peopel would support Vick, a convicted felon who's greed and shameful disregard of life but somehow have major issues with non violent non criminal persons who are gay I REALLY look forward to the bigotry and hateful feelings that exposes the shallow human beings here and everywhere. I hope it happens, the fact is the majority will support sed player coming out and those who get angry bitter and hateful will be pushed further into the corner..
  15. ok if this is the case then why the hell is Barkely #1....
  16. time to stop picking up other teams trash and aging vets. Hell no
  17. Love the sarcasm.. He is by far not the best we would have
  18. Not interested in trading for any QB. More so for the fact that it has NEVER worked out for the Bills.
  19. You trade back from #8 get a pick in the teens or low 20's and pick the QB that you want with the highest ceiling at that spot. There will be teams looking to move up, and the Bills NEED more picks.
  20. Using that logic it has to be Geno since they have gone and seen his pro day had a personal workout, went out to dinner and then met him a 4th time just recently
  21. go check out the 2009 roster and get back to me on that one
  22. no they won't now that's the smart move.
