Whaley Bullish on Jones: the Landry six
shibuya replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
really ? I would rather go 0-16 for the rest of my days then to 1.) sell my soul if there is such a thing 2.) listen to religious talk constantly inserted into my football entertainment while I'm simply trying to escape everyday BS like organized religions I dislike Tebow because he feels he has to promote , and uses the media for this purpose. Whether or not Jones would be like that is questionable, but I have little tolerance for it. I would rather we not draft him if that is what he would become. That being said there is very little out there where Jones uses football media to promote, so I doubt it would be an issue -
Besides the top 2 OT's, is there a can't miss guy

What are you doing for the draft tonight?
shibuya replied to PaattMaann's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not much. I'll put it on and do other things and every once in awhile I'll check back in. I cannot sit there and listen mind numbing jock talk for long periods of time between picks. Way to painful -
yeah if they are going out of business it's because there website is secondary to their print copies and they obviously didn't have the foresight to stay relevant in the modern world. The NFL draft is mostly discussed online and they just did not adjust to it It's draft day and their rankings are still 2012 http://www.profootba...pects/rankings/

the Jets are not taking a 1st rd QB. they are STUCK with Sanchez this year, and will take a big hit if they release him next year. Sanchez is not riding the bench when he is going to make $14 mil this season, and cutting him cost the jets even more. they have plan B with Tebow who they wasted a draft pick for, they gutted much of their team and have huge holes to fill Trading back from #8 will make me the happiest

the QB's in this draft are NOT mega-gambles, and the majority will be snatched up in 2 rounds, with the top choices going before the bills 2nd rd pick They all have a question mark, but that has been over analyzed. IMO this draft will produce a few long term NFL QB's. in fact because of Luck Griffin 3 last year everyone has over scrutinized these QB's and perceived a "Mega Gamble" attitude.

Chris Brown's annual mock draft.............
shibuya replied to ChanOverChin's topic in College Football
the Bills simply use Brown as another smokescreen... In all honestly nobody has any idea what QB the Bills covet the most, and that IMO has been by design -
TJ did quite fine with Fitz and a sputtering passing O in his rookie season. I am not even slightly worried about TJ's future. He will be a much bigger part of our O this year, and lots of people will get to eat crow from all the whining about picking him Wallace had Big Ben throwing him the football as rookie.

The Future Decline of Pro Football
shibuya replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kids today are playing more and more soccer. Kids who grow up loving a sport tend to play that sport in high school and eventually college the game of football is so expensive many kids will never go to a pro game because their parents can not afford it. therefore the passion for the game cannot be built up in many of today south Therefore kids who grow up with soccer, and have cheaper access to pro soccer games are going to take their athletic talents and play the sport they grew up loving. this will eventually put a major talent drain on sports like football and it will take a big hit over the next 3 decades. Bottom line as the big 3 American pro sports become more expensive, More of the population will be supporting it less and less, and thier children will not be brought up on these sports the way we were. I;ve seen this reality coming for a few years. -
I worry we take a QB @ 8 just to placate fans
shibuya replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just let the draft happen and be a fan. If we take a QB at #8 it's because we know we wouldn't have gotten said QB at #41. I've never wanted a draft to just be over with as much as this one just based on these fan posts -
Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
shibuya replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
really watch that again. Nassib had a real good game. 30/46 Over 300 yards 2 TD's. he had 2 INT's one of them was a tipped ball. His WR's dropped at least 5 very catch-able balls as well USC ran the ball all day, and Syracuse couldn't stop the USC run attack. USC had pressure on Nassib all day long as well. I hope they draft Nasisb just so a few people will "Be DONE" -
Anyone watching the blogger mock draft on ESPN now?
shibuya replied to beggar13's topic in College Football
Neither at #8 please -
Catch a falling Star (Lotuleilei)...
shibuya replied to filthymcnasty08's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
maybe so, but they are forced to trade about 7 of those picks because it's safe to say maybe 4 rookies make SF team. So if they use all those picks an don't trade them to teams liek Buffalo who are looking for picks they will be cutting 10 or so players they drafted. So the embarrassment of riches is partially a burden to off load. So SF needs ot move up a few times in this draft just to get rid of some of those picks -
OK tell me all the teams you think will be drafting a QB behind us at #8 ??? the only possibility is the jets and they need plenty of other players before a QB this year. they just had a fire sale and need to replace Revis. Find me just 1 mock draft that has a team selecting a QB after #8. The Bills can trade back and stil get thier guy IMO, AND in the process of picking up extra picks get a top WR and a top TE. Staying at #8 is the wrong move for the Bills IMO

Site has 5 Bills games listed as the worst of 2013 NFL season
shibuya replied to McD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ridiculous... I guess the internet needs more opinion where it's unwaranted I look forward to every Bills game regardless of opponent myself. And I never watch any other NFL games. So for me I could care less, but every year things change and this year these games could prove to be the most entertianing -
Question for Anyone Who Trolls Other Boards . . .
shibuya replied to Ennjay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LMAO.. I'm so tired of this lame argument. There will be 2-3 QB's in this draft that have rock solid NFL career. no reason why we can't take a QB this year and if one rates better next year take that one 2. You can always trade a solid asset later on. -
Tweets from Bills practice = AWESOME!
shibuya replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
bravery ? seriously.... it takes bravery to be an over zealous negative person in the offseason. No it just takes a miserable person who can not allow a positive vibe. No wonder Buffalo gets such a bad reputation.. it is chocked full of "brave" people always coming up with a negative -
Nigel Bradham article/words from Bradham and Nix
shibuya replied to ny33's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Coaching and scheme will make all the difference and many of the players we do have wil look much better then they have under Gailey. -
and Dorin Dickerson ran a 4.4 as well, and will be tried at WR this offseason/training camp http://www.nfl.com/c...erson?id=497222 TJ Graham ran a 4.41 http://www.nfl.com/d...aham?id=2532850 So that 3 guys with 4.4 speed. Hopefully all 3 can step it up. I still think we need a #2 or #1b WR but Dickerson, Graham and Easley should/could adequately fill in #3 - #5 WR slots

Why don't you is the real question. is it because the name isn't extremely familiar to you ? -
The new tone at OBD: What they're saying
shibuya replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the batman gif is a winner Nix went all in for Cowher, and we all wanted that to happen. We ended up with leftovers in Gailey. Still glad we tried hard to land Cowher, because at that time I really didn't want anyone else. -
Chiefs want picks for Brandon Albert
shibuya replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Albert has been mediocre and inconsistent Um not true. Nix was hired as the top scout that year. We all know it was Jauron who pushed hard for Maybin. it was Nix and company that pushed for Levitre Wood and Byrd, but hey thanks for playing the lets hate on Nix game -
Rapaport: don't expect Byrd to show up to workouts
shibuya replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How many 20% a year raises have you received. That is a Huge increase. The Bills might be willing to trade Byrd and draft one of the top S in this years draft. It would have to be for more then just an early 1st rd pick to be worth it
