He is not worth top 5 safety money. I'd give him a generous raise but I wouldn't pay more then $7 mil a year for the guy, and I wouldn't give him more then $15 mil guaranteed for a DB with 2 gimpy feet he makes some plays and he is a liability in others We already have multiple DB's bringing in multiple INT's and we are more desperate at other positions then DB's and we will have to let others DB's walk in a year or 2 if we overpay Byrd. Spend the money on OL ILB's and a TE

EJ proved to me that we cannot sit back and feel comfortable about our long term QB situation -
Rosenthal bold face lies about EJ in an NFL.com…
shibuya replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
EJ hasn't looked very good all year. he had moments, but he very slow gettign going in eveyr game, and very inconsistent with accuracy, and slow going through read progressions The Bills would be very wise to go big on QB an dlet them duke it out. We would have depth, insurance and competition at QB which is WAY overdue. The fact is this franchise cna il lafford to put all its eggs in a 1 QB basket... and no Thad Lewis orTuel is not enough -
I want losses. If this team was playing to win we woudln't have had to endure Pitt, KC, Atlanta and TB.. so why pretend now and I don't care what anyone thinks. The season is shot, and wins won't do anythign for us but make the offseaosn less exciting. We win those last 2 games and I'm still going to hate the fact they **cked the fans again I wan the best pick we can get so we can trade back and fill numerous holes Again don't care at all I'm ready for the FA and the draft already

Bills Sign OL JJ Unga to the 53 Man Roster
shibuya replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would love to see him at LG some this year. I'm thinking this is because our running game is too incosistent and this is the best answer they can come up with at this point in the season. He has 2 weeks to get ready for some playing time -
Who wants to apologize to Jairus Byrd?
shibuya replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Byrd still wants to be the highest paid S then tag him and try to trade him this offseason. We have a weak schedule from here on out so hopefully he will pad his stats and someone will pony up big for him He is good but he is not worth being the highest paid S. A 2 INT's game agains a rookie QB who throws plenty of INT's does not greatness make Wake me up when he has 2 INT's against Brady or another playoff bound team in non garbage time, Byrd's career shows he gets his INT's against sub par teams. -
I hated Flutie back then, and can't stand fans bringing up this stupid curse BS

Jonathan Martin AWOL, Incognito suspended
shibuya replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only thing any person here needs to understand is the voice-mails. Nobody at any job has to put up with that. Martin is right and Incognito is a scumbag who should never play another NFL game -

$22,846,458.00 available cap space is GONE
shibuya replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills have 42 players under contract in 2014 our Salary cap with no additions or signs is $109,146,839... That includes dead money Doesn't include roll over from this years cap which is $19 million at this point. Assuming little change in the next years salary cap the Bills would have about $33 mil in cap space in 2014, give or take a million... -
I will NEVER understand why anyone would agree to a PSL You are asked to pay for the rights to pay for season tickets every year.. When did that ever make sense to anyone... I just cannot understand how anyone justifies PSL's

The Bills are one of the best running teams in the league after 1 week the Titans only averaged 2.7 yds per carry

you didn't watch the game then. There were multiple hits on Brady... Since when is 2 sacks in a football game against a premiere team with a solid OL and one of the best QB's the league has ever known considered poor ?

Jairus Byrd our Peyton Hillis Headache
shibuya replied to John Belucheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this livelihood non sense is crapola Byrd turned down any-where's from $17 - $20 mil in guaranteed money.. that is plenty of livelihood... That is if he wanted to be a Buffalo Bill... Stevie, K. Williams, Dareus, And M. Williams all got between $17 mil - $24 mil in guaranteed money. Pretty safe to say Byrd was offered something like that Him not playing will cost him money next year, and I doubt we tag a player with 2 gimpy feet who can't play, and I doubt another team would even consider making him a top 5 contract without a boat load of incentives if he can't make it on the field this year. The players voted on the CBA and that included the franchise tag, therefore if injury faking is happening then that IMO is a violation of the CBA agreement... Maybe Byrd should of taken the bird in the hand instead of holding out for 2 in the bush.. We'll see how this progresses but if by the end of Sept he still can't find his way on the field then he will forever just be another me 1st prima donna douche -
If we are going to depend on CJ we do need to spread it out so CJ has space to exploit But overall I'm sick and tired of the 1st game 2nd guessing coming from the blowhards

Maybe Norwood wasn't to blame back in SB XXV...
shibuya replied to MaineMoxie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I always blamed our D for their constant over pursuit of Giants RB's allowing constant cut back yardage for big gains Norwood was just the final kick in the balls -
http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&role=TM&offensiveStatisticCategory=RUSHING&defensiveStatisticCategory=null&season=2013&seasonType=REG&tabSeq=2&qualified=false&Submit=Go According to this The Bills are the 3rd best rushing team in the league and the Titans are 8th In regards to YPC Buffalo Averaged 4.0 ypc and Tenn 2.7 ypc. Buffalo ranked #8 here and Tenn ranked #22 pretty stupid to start a debate about Levitre when all the other evidence clearly says something else at this point

I think he'll be better the Kelly in the long run. Keeping in mind in today's NFL, Kelly's stats were pedestrian in comparison to today's top QB's

Ron Jaworski's take on EJ (via Mike & Mike)
shibuya replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For some reason I feel EJ is going to be solid from the get go. Limited mistakes and steady output.. There is an aura about him, that leaves me with little concern. My concern this week is not our O but more our D secondary. Our front 7 is solid, but our secondary without Gilmore and Byrd full go is my only concern.... So my hope lies in creative pressuring of Brady from Pettines D -
Peters basically took the same deal the Bills put on the table when we traded him to the Eagles. Seriously what else could Buffalo do, and if you send a precedent that we will over pay you to stay here then all players will start expecting to be overpaid to be a Bill. Peters just did not want to be here, and you never over pay for a malcontent.. that is idiocy.. I agree with the Peters trade then and still do now. You don't want players like Peters and Byrd to walk, but they have to want to be here and shouldn't ever have to demand to be the highest paid just to stay
