I've been on Warner's jock all year, so yes he should be a first ballot Hall of Fame player. Plus if he comes back next year, and that's still up in the air, and the Cardinals improve on offense even more then Kurt will go in. Warner is the one is who got the Cardinals to the SB. The Cardinal defense didn't get on 3-and-out the whole game did they?

So Arizona is playing with their hair on fire...

They should have ran the ball more. I think in the first half. Weird game. Two different halfs. Their defense did everything to win the game in the second half, except that last drive. -

I'll take credit for that. Because I speculated that was the reason people didn't like Kurt Warner. I did so earlier this year on this board and as far as I'm concerned that's the only reason most people don't like Kurt Warner. And it's sad really. Just because he's "Jesus Boy" doesn't mean he's a bad player. People seem to want to find faults with Kurt and they'll say he'll never make the hall of fame because they don't like his stance on religion. My feeling is people should just judge the players performance not his personality. -

Getting a three and out helped the Eagles. Wow! -

AZ defense needs a turnover or a 3 and out. -

That's what Im thinking. It's pass, pass, then run Westbrook as an after thought. AZ needs a scoring drive. -

Doesn't a player have to have possession of the ball. He can't just touch the ball and then go out. It's a live ball if he does, isn't it? -
Awesome first drive. They need a turnover now!

I think the same. Cards-Pitts.

OK here's what I did regarding the 50-1 Superbowl bet I made on the Cardinals. I didn't really hedge it. I was going to hedge it but I decided to kindof let it ride. I put $20 more at 5-1 on the Cardinals. I put $20 on Philadelphia to win the SB at 2-1. And I put $33 to win 30 on the Cardinals at +4. I only have $130 left, so I wanted some money to put on the Superbowl. These could be losers. I did a 4 play parlay. Cardinals +3/5, Cards/Phil over; Pitts -6 and the Pitts/Balt under for $5.

pBills might not want to look at this...

Thanks for posting this. A picture is worth a 1,000 words. I'm pro UAW, but they do need to take an immediate $5 an hour pay cut, not just give up the job bank. But the white collar workers should take huge cuts also, not just blue collar workers. If we're all "a family" then everyone in the "family" can take cuts. -

And I would agree with you. His only claim to fame was to cut labor costs and anyone can do that. -
I didn't want this to get lost in the mix, so I made a different thread. SI: aka Sports Illustrated had a story about USC's football team and they did mention in the story that Sanchez was accused of rape. I did a brief google and it's there. It probably will hurt his draft status, fair or unfair.

USC QB Mark Sanchez set to declare for the draft
RLflutie7 replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The rape accusations are not going to help him. It's a black eye and I wouldn't be surprised if he slides to the 3rd or 4th round. I wouldn't draft him that high based on one year. He should have went back for another season. -
It wouldn't surprise me if Donovan McNabb were to land with the Cardinals if Kurt Warner decides to retire and if the Cards beat the Eagles in the playoffs. McNabb lives in Arizona in the offseason and it makes sense. Because I think Leinart's days are numbered. If Warner were to retire, they'd bring in another QB anyway. I don't think McNabb is such a natural fit for Chicago. People talk all the time, but I'm not so sure that's such a great fit. The Bears have two younger QBs, whereas Arizona would be minus an experienced QB. If the Bears were to release one of their younger QBs, it would make more sense and the Bears have a better running game. Plus the weather is a factor for an old guy.

That's just it, both are not totally in the wrong. UAW employees have a contract. They go to work every day and do their job and collect a pay check. They have done nothing wrong. Comparing the two, you would have to say that the union employees were sabotaging the product. And that has been done in the past. Back in the 70s it was always said that union employees would overlook quality problems to get product out the door on time. And management should not have let them get away with it. But they turned a "blind eye". That however, came to an end, because it put the car companies at risk because of poor quality. And in a sense, Merrill Lynch should have never set up a compensation package were the employees are making money when the firm goes under. Turning a "blind eye" is wrong.

Because he removed half the staff at home depot to save money. He cuts labor costs to the bare bone. -
I win on the NFL every year. I can't remember a year that I lost, maybe 2004, but it wasn't a huge loss. I actually won more bets, but I lost $$$bigger wagers. I don't bet more than $50 a game. Most of the time, it's $20 a game, so I don't care. I can't afford to make bets like I used to in the 1990s. I think it's easier to win with smaller bets because you don't second guess yourself and you just make more logical picks. When big money comes into play, emotions take over and stupid picks follow.
