  1. with his second shoulder injury does he come out for the draft? if so, how far will he drop in the first round? could we or should we take him if he falls to us?
  2. no catches. nuff said!!
  3. is it conceivable for us to win against our next 4 opponents? we play carolina, houston, tennessee, and jacksonville before heading to miami.
  4. in no particular order -john riggins -earl campbell -rob carpenter -wilbert montgomery -ickey woods -pete johnson -larry csonka -robert newhouse -billy simms -william andrews -otis anderson-he tore us up -walter payton -chuck muncie -franco harris -barry sanders -eric dickerson i am swearing off cabo wabo tequila for life!!
  5. i am not a charger fan, but muncie was a beast. the guy had it all-speed, power, and good hands.
  6. could kelly have played in the dan fouts era and vice versa? would we have won a super bowl with fouts?
  7. Would you trade T.O. to the Browns for Brady Quinn?
  8. Do we have any strengths on offense that we should really be emphasizing? Do we go back to the basics of football? Running should be our strength, the pass game ain't working.
  9. His record is 205-139-1. Not a bad resume.
  10. The guy played for the Bills. He has turned around every team to respectability. His playoff record is not great, but we need to crawl before we can walk.
  11. Has Ralph become our version of screw ball Al Davis?
  12. When the good Lord was passing out brains, our team was stuck in the nose line!!!!
  13. Harris I believe started out as a linebacker and was converted to safety at Oklahoma. He is a big guy to play safety, reminds me of Steve Atwater size wise.
  14. He could be our next coach. He had a decent record at U of Maine and has done well at Iowa. I believe he has experience at the NFL level.
  15. We need to replace Jauron. Who wants the job outside of the organization? Pretty hard to do that now, we need a new offensive coordinator, and a proven head coach with a set of cahones. I still believe Marty Schottenheimer would be perfect. He has a proven record of taking dismal teams and returning them to respectability. Let's face it, need to blow this thing up.
  16. Was raised eating Zweigles. Stationed in Maine and enjoyed Jordan's. Now in Florida and I have to say Hebrew National All Beef is hard to beat.
  17. This is off, but who makes the best hot dog?
  18. Marv Levy wasn't a young coach.
  19. If the planets and stars lined up perfectly, could we get Dick Vermeil? We need a coach with a proven record of winning.
  20. Do we have a good enough running game and blockers to play smash mouth football? Shouldn't we be playing to our strengths? We have one of the biggest o-lines, they should be able to fall forward and gain positive yardage.
  21. He is not going to play in Cleveland. Is he a better option than Fitzpatrick?
  22. With Lynch back for duty, why don't we run the ball more? Trent is merely a manager of the game a la Trent Dilfer.
  23. Jim Kelly is in the Hall of Fame and was great. My question is this, who was a better quarterback, Kelly or Simms? Would we have won a Super Bowl with Simms as our quarterback instead of Kelly? The impression that I have of Simms is that he is/was a more disciplined and a harder worker than Kelly. Your thoughts?
  24. I have dain bramage.
  25. If you like the o-line now, wait until next season. We probably have the youngest and most inexperienced o-line in the league. Next year, with a year of experience-barring injury-we could have the makings of a dominant line. Give props to Kugler. "Hambone", Wood, Levitre, and Bell, could be something special.
