Seriously?? By the time the stadium is built, there realistically might only be 4-5 guys still on the roster. 5 years is an eternity in the NFL.

Fixing the running game ain’t a quick fix. Too late for a radical overhaul. Gotta go to a short passing game to move the chains better. Go max protect with 2 Tight ends and either Singletary or Breida. Dink and dunk teams to death. And Allen needs to take the 5-6 yard runs teams are giving him.

When you don’t put any emphasis on the running game, this is what you end up with. Why would Beane waste a higher pick on a RB when this coaching staff couldn’t find a use for a Guard like Teller? In consecutive drafts, Beane sat back and let the dynamic RB’s get gobbled up before he would pull the trigger. Same with the Interior O-Linemen. Clearly the organizational philosophy is not to care a lick about the running game. So it’s no surprise this is what you get.

Again the offense is just off....

Imagine how the locker room feels when it’s plain as day to Joe 6-pack and every talking head. This season is definitely on the brink the next 2 games. Lose to either New Orleans or New England and I think you’re gonna see a lot of player dissension. -

Where are this offense’s long methodical drives? Sometimes in a tough game you gotta control the ball and move the chains. This offense hasn’t shown that ability. We need a defensive coordinator that’s gonna go Buddy Ryan on Kevin Gilbride. Yes the defense was bad yesterday, but the defense has been the bright spot this year. -

This has been a while in the making. Daboll’s run at the blackjack table is over. Teams started figuring us out last year. Daboll has no answer other than doing the same thing and he built an offense that can’t run the ball. -
Beane gets the players McDermott asks for. McDermott runs the show.

Is it Zero Depth or Bad Coaching?

I think the coaches told Epenesa to lose another 20 pounds. We’re not allowed to be physical on either side of the ball. -
Many on this board deserve a pat on the back

Beane gave the coaches a mauling Guard in Teller and they didn’t want him. He signed Breida and they’d rather stick with the Singletary/Moss tandem. A change definitely needs to be made on the Offensive coaching staff. -
When does McD go on the hot seat?
BuffaloRebound replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
If I’m Beane, I’d tell McDermott to fire your OC. I draft the best Guard in the League and can’t use him in your offense. It’s not the personnel. It’s the offensive philosophy. -
What are your expectations for the rest of the season?
BuffaloRebound replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Patriots will destroy this team. Can’t see Bills winning the division. And this team don’t have enough fight in it to scratch its way to a wildcard spot. 9-8 tops. More likely 8-9. -
Is it Zero Depth or Bad Coaching?
BuffaloRebound replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think McDermott has gone overboard on the analytics and it’s resulted in a soft finesse team that others have figured out. Not figuring out how to use a soon-to-be All Pro Guard, asking your 2nd round Defensive End to lose 25 pounds and now he gets rag dolled when teams run at him. We’ve gone so overboard on finesse. -

It’s about their football philosophy. If you’re the more physical team, you always have a chance. We are rarely the more physical team. -
When does McD go on the hot seat?
BuffaloRebound replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think he should be on the hot seat, but I think he needs to adjust his philosophy. We need to get more physical on both sides of ball and that probably means getting rid of possibly both coordinators. Daboll has shown no ability to put together a run game that doesn’t include putting his franchise QB in harms way. And Frazier asks his D Linemen to be way too light and plays nickel the whole game. The 2 ass beatings we are gonna get from New England will be final nail in coffin for Daboll and Frazier. -

Barmore was too big and physical for McBeane. The analytics tell them to take finesse guys. -

I think we needed a couple more respected veterans who were chasing rings. These guys clearly got too full of themselves after last year. McBeane brought everybody back and exchanged Brown for Sanders. Team needed an infusion of a little more new blood. -

What on earth are you talking about? You do know the LaSalle that McDermott attended is in Philly. -

Loose is actually the right way to describe this team. Sloppy and no attention to detail. -
I get the half the distance thing. But it should still be a first down.

Greg Cosell on the Bills Offense

Seems like everybody’s jumping on the pile. Here’s to Daboll shoving it up all the armchair expert’s asses tomorrow. 4 wideouts and Knox the whole game.
