    Not sure who else you think should’ve received votes. Oliver came on late in the season. Diggs didn’t have as good a year as the the guys who got votes. And only Rodgers and Brady got any votes.

    Allen probably would’ve been ruined on the Jets. And Allen had a lot more questions heading into the draft than Herbert. Heck, I bet Beane would’ve taken Darnold over Allen at the time. Tua and Herbert was definitely more of a debate and Dolphins failed in that decision miserably.

    Can you blame Flores? Taking Tua over Herbert could go down as one of biggest draft blunders of all time.

    I haven’t been a huge fan of Edmunds, but he’s played better this year and I think all things considered there’s not 5 MLB’s out there who fit better in this defense. I could live with 5 years $70m.

    Sounds like none of the college QB’s in the 1st round discussion are can’t miss types. My bet is Trubisky gets a 1 year deal from a team who drafts a 1st round QB. Maybe a Pittsburgh, Denver, Washington, Minnesota (if Cousins is gone). Not sure he’s much of an upgrade from Wentz and I doubt Indy is moving on from Wentz (after trading a 1st rounder) unless it’s obvious upgrade.

    You still gotta go with your gut, but the analytics should still be used in coming to every decision. The analytics tell you the baseline case, and then the coach has to factor in what’s happening on the field right now. It’s like tweaking a model. You need both.

    I can’t imagine any decent GM candidate would retain Judge.

    I’d sign him. He’s familiar with frazier’s defense, and Belichik already signaled how he’s gonna play last time they were up here. Lawson could be useful against Titans too if we meet up with them again. Epenesa is a liability against run heavy teams. Groot is susceptible too.

    How on earth does Reich survive if somebody like Flores gets canned? Indy has a stacked roster. Probably the best in football minus the QB who was brought in because he played for Reich.

    I think we can live with Allen running more in the playoffs and in some huge regular season games, but we gotta get a better non-QB running game to protect the franchise QB.

    Lock actually showed he isn’t complete trash. But if any team should trade for Watson, it’s the Broncos. They have no chance in that division without a top notch QB.
