  1. https://www.nfl.com/news/cardinals-wr-christian-kirk-open-minded-heading-into-free-agency-i-just-want-to- This is either an elaborate ruse or he’s heading to Buffalo.
  2. Agreed. He is what he is at this point. Either sign him to a long term deal or get some value back in a trade. Playing on the 5th year option would be McBeane still not being able to make a decision on the guy.
  3. He’s faster than any of our Defensive Ends who made Mahomes look like Lamar.
  4. Didn’t this guy win the Outland and Bednarik awards? And was in top 10 for the Heisman. The weight is a concern but you ain’t getting sure things at Pick 25. And this guy could be an All Pro if he wants to be. I’m cool with it at Pick 25.
  5. The CB’s never last. You can get a good WR in 2nd round, but I think Bills go WR in free agency. My guess is CB in 1st, IOL in 2nd, LB in 3rd.
  6. I don’t know. I mean the guy is probably the best athlete on the planet for a guy that size. At worst you’re getting a 2 down run stopper. At best you’re getting a guy who could be un-blockable if he wants to be great.
  7. Seems like a Raider. Doubt he makes it past them.
  8. Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our Douche… https://www.nfl.com/news/packers-qb-aaron-rodgers-torn-on-where-he-wants-to-play-in-2022 As if it’s his decision only. Dude’s under contract.
  9. Amazing how de-valued the RB position has become. I think you’re gonna see more teams do what Shanahan did with Samuel. Use a physical WR as your RB.
  10. I could see a team with a young un-proven QB giving him a 2 year deal for around $6m per year, $7-8m in guarantees. It’s a copycat league. Teams will see Josh’s development and rightly or wrongly think Cole can help their young QB. Not crazy to think the Jets or Jags or some other team with a ton of cap room and a young QB would want Beasley.
  11. My guess is Beasley wants a new contract.
  12. It’d be better for Beasley if he was cut than traded. That tells me the Bills aren’t asking for a re-structure because then Beasley would just say cut me.
  13. Get Gronk and draft a WR in first 2 rounds. Beasley, Feliciano and a 5th for Saquan
  14. 3 or 4 more? I’d say 2 max. Josh is too good. You’d have to move on from McDermott if we don’t at least make a Super Bowl in next 2 years.
  15. Bottom line is if a head coach hasn’t won a Super Bowl much less get to one they are on the hot seat by year 6 or 7 regardless of how well they’ve done. With Zimmer getting the ax, McDermott is currently the longest tenured head coach who hasn’t won a Super Bowl. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2021/07/the-longest-tenured-head-coaches-in-the-nfl
  16. Making a Pro Bowl was the difference between his 5th year option being the average of the top 3 through 25 LB’s versus the average of the top 10. That’s why he’s making $12.7m and not $9.7m. Beane picked it up a year ago still betting on Edmunds potential. Not easy admitting a guy you traded up to the 16th pick for is an average starting LB. Maybe year 5 is the year he realizes his potential but kicking that can down the road is getting progressively more expensive.
  17. Wouldn’t be surprised if Ridder is 1st QB taken. Elite athlete, good enough passer, winner.
  18. Since it’s Gronk, 1 year $6.9m should get it done. Add in a voidable year so the cap hit this year is only $4.9m.
  19. Whoever gets paid $13m a year to basically be a large scarecrow. Dawkins rightfully was the magnet this year until his play drastically improved at end of year.
  20. The reason he’s making $12.7m this year is directly related to being a 1st round draft pick and making a Pro Bowl. And no agent is gonna accept anything less than that per year on a long term deal. So when people talk about him being a disappointment due to his draft status, it’s actually very relevant. He will have made $26m in his first 5 years in the league. If he was drafted in the 2nd round and didn’t make a pro bowl, we’re probably looking at $4m total in his first 4 years and a 2nd contract in the $6-8m per year range based on production.
  21. He should’ve said he’s a bleu cheese guy to hit the trifecta.
  22. Anthony Barr would be at least half the price. He fits the physical profile of Edmunds. I’m sure he can be taught to drop back and be in the right spots. If he makes a play, then we’re ahead of the game.
  23. “I’m not here to talk about the past”… doing his best Mark Mcgwire impression.
  24. Not exactly a ringing endorsement from Beane.
