    Not gonna disagree about Darnold sucking now. But he had a promising rookie year and then got eaten up by the Jets dysfunction, injuries and NY media. If he got drafted by Cleveland or Buffalo instead of the Jets, I think his story is way different.

    Fields could be good. He’s got that weird elbow out thing that Wentz has when he throws though. Too much tightness in the shoulder. But he’s a better athlete than Wentz and in the right situation I think he’s a guy you can win with. His current situation could very well ruin him like Darnold.

    Agreed. Spending an extra $300m on a stadium that will be around for 40+ years should not take into account how the current team is constructed. And it takes far less money for McBeane to build an effective ground game, which the Bills should do anyway.

    Makes sense to me. NFL is saying if your vaccinated, your risk is lower. If your unvaccinated, we ain’t going to cancel games because of your personal decision.

    Or they are saying the unvaccinated are now on their own. If they wanna opt out, they can. But they don’t get paid and have until today or tomorrow to do so.

    There’s little to no economic benefit to having a dome in Orchard Park, so I can’t see it happening. If UB was gonna use the facility and if it would’ve resulted in more year round events, but I think that’s out the window if it’s in Orchard Park.

    They were afraid of the blowback and Mayfield’s big mouth. So they gave the Browns 2 extra days to shut them up. It’s how the NFL operates. Stumble from 1 crisis to the next. Never about doing the right thing or what’s fair, only when forced too.

    This is actually the best outcome for the NFL. Would’ve been completely unfair to raiders if Mayfield or Keenum could play tonight.

    Since they all play each other twice, that’s 4 more losses right there. And in their 4 non-divisionals against KC twice, the Rams, Green Bay, that’s at a minimum 2 more losses, most likely 3, and very possibly 4. If I had to bet, I’d say Cincy 1 more loss, and the others 2 more losses each.

    Bills beat the Pats this week and we’re right in line for the 2 or 3 seed. Kind of amazing when you consider an 0-5 record in 1 score games.
