    Are we really in it to win it? Don’t ask for a billion in taxpayer money for a new stadium and then hide behind the salary cap excuse that doesn’t stop other teams from going all in. Take the $3.5m per year that one your JAG signings spurned you on and add that to your Jones offer.

    They do when it’s $1billion in public money for a stadium. I’m not one to want a splashy signing for it’s own sake, but I think McBeane’s gotta read the room a little here. Replacing our JAG’s with other JAG’s is gonna leave the large majority of the fanbase uninspired.

    But it rarely happens and when it does it’s huge contract guys. What’s the rush in announcing a deal for a $3.5m per year RB if there was a chance of changing his mind? Nothing about this smells right. I’m predicting a McCaffrey trade announced shortly.

    Seems like a JAG who got a nice contract from the Browns in a thin Tight End class. Doesn’t stretch the field and not a good blocker.

    Between Williams, Klein and feliciano cuts and Haack, Morse, Milano, and now Hyde restructurings, that seems a fair amount more than what they need for the additions already announced.

    Watson is a great QB but he doesn’t possess great arm strength. No way he chooses a cold weather outdoor team like Cleveland.

    Jones would be a nice get but with Denver out of the way I’d go hard after Miller. If I need a stop to win a championship, he’s the edge guy I’d want.
