  1. Most people remember the ones they lost a lot more than when they won. Dealing a future All Pro Guard on his rookie deal for a 5th rounder will weigh on Beane’s mind.
  2. Beane still has egg on his face from the Teller fiasco. It says a lot that Bates generated this much interest as an RFA. My guess is that Beane finds out how much the guarantees are and signs Bates to a deal with similar guaranteed money.
  3. I actually think it’s borderline crazy for Chiefs to trade Hill. He’s so good in that offense. Reid is the king of 2nd chances and 3rd chances, and 4th chances… so if Reid is done with a dude who’s this good, my guess is that Hill has a ton of baggage. The odds of getting somebody as good as Hill with the 29th pick are minuscule.
  4. The RFA tender isn’t guaranteed to the player yet the 5th year option for 1st round picks is?
  5. Jets will dodge a bullet if he chooses Miami. Could see Hill becoming next Antonio Brown without Reid and Mahomes keeping this guy in check.
  6. If KC is trading him there’s no way I’d touch that. Adams was caught in the middle of the Rodgers/ GB soak opera. Adams wanting out was perfectly reasonable. KC is a stable franchise that competes for Super Bowls every year with a young franchise QB on a long term deal. There’s almost zero probability Hill is as good on another team.
  7. Plan is probably to keep a Peterson or Haden on the back burner in case a worthy CB isn’t there at pick 25.
  8. Beane usually telegraphs where he’s going early in the draft by what he doesn’t do in free agency. There were plenty of edge rushers available in free agency last year. We passed on all of them. Then drafted 2 with our first 2 picks. I definitely think there’s 5-6 DB’s that Beane would take at pick 25.
  9. Dude, the Crowder highlight video was posted so I watched it. The Edmunds missed tackle jumped off the video. It was Crowder’s only highlight where he broke a tackle and took it to the house. The Edmunds’ apologists are probably more annoying than his haters at this point.
  10. I don’t understand what the thinking was of the NFLPA pushing for the 5th year option to be guaranteed for anything other than injury. Kind of funny what the NFLPA fights for. You’d think they’d fight for guys who weren’t 1st round picks to hit free agency earlier rather than getting the 5th year option fully guaranteed for guys who’ve probably made 5 times the amount of money as those who weren’t selected in 1st round.
  11. Diggs is a great player, but can somebody smarter than me explain the pretty drastic drop off in his catch rate in 2021? From 75% to 62%. To the naked eye, it just seemed like he didn’t fight as hard for the ball as he did in 2020. Was the oblique injury from the end of the 2020 season still not 100%?
  12. My point was about the video. If you watched it and it wasn’t the first thing that popped out then you’re as blinded as the Edmunds haters.
  13. Watch the video. Sometimes it’s just too easy.
  14. How can you watch that highlight video as a Bills fan and that not be the first thing you notice? There is no other highlight in that reel where Crowder breaks tackles except from our pro bowler.
  15. Nice tackle Edmunds. LOL
  16. I think they would’ve signed Levi to $4m per year if they weren’t looking to upgrade. 5 years is a long time not to draft a CB in the first 3 rounds. Not many CB’s remain elite into their 30’s so it would be smart to get another good young one to pair with Tre.
  17. One things for sure, there’s gonna be a ton of pressure on him to make some plays this year. The being young excuse is officially over. Bills are all in. Their $12.7m pro bowl LB has to do more than just be in the right place.
  18. I’d trade a 4th rounder for Hunt, maybe even a 3rd if cleveland already paid his $4.95m roster bonus and the Bills are getting Hunt for $1.35m for 1 year.
  19. Browns have the cap space to let Mayfield sit out. They ain’t trading him to the AFC. The dude is like a little troll that feeds off resentment. They’ll want him in NFC.
  20. I’d love an interior OL with 1st round pick, but it’s probably gotta be a CB. They would’ve signed Levi to $4m per year if they weren’t looking to upgrade. And the CB’s with speed who can play are usually gone by pick 57.
  21. I’m sure the salary cap is a very large reason this could never happen. ‘We’re signing Von Miller for $17m per year to be our assistant quality coach’
  22. Doubt $8m is gonna scare teams away, but mccaffrey’s 2022 salary guarantees on Monday. Just saying…
  23. Sucks for him but Titans love drafting injured guys in 1st round.
  24. https://www.ourlads.com/story/default/Quarterback-Ball-Velocity-at-NFL-Combine-2008-2017/10243/dh/ only through 2020
  25. Ball velocity numbers (MPH) from the Combine: 60 - Mahomes 59 - Webb 56 - Kizer 55 - Trubisky, Evans 53 - Peterman, Kaaya 49 - Watson He’s obviously overcome this so far in his career but he’s also played at least 70% of his games in a dome or warm weather venue. That’s gonna change in Cleveland and the AFC North.
