  1. The head injury Davis suffered in the Denver playoff game was scary. Some guys don’t fully recover from hits like that. Sounds like he lost weight to become more elusive and possibly avoid hits like that. He hasn’t looked NFL roster worthy post injury and weight loss.
  2. The difference is the rules never applied to Deion because he was a transcendent talent and then personality once his playing days were done. Shadeur aint that dude his daddy was. I almost feel bad for him. Almost.
  3. Reason 127 why he fell to the 5th round. The sense of entitlement runs deep. Even if Rex is an idiot, he’s paid his dues, was an accomplished NFL coach for 10-15 years and has earned the right to sound off. Shadeur has earned nothing.
  4. Fair to criticize a defense that consistently crumbles in the playoffs when no significant changes have been made. It’s the same scheme of undersized back 7 guys with very few who can play man coverage. So we get the same complicated coverage schemes with undersized players who get gashed in the run game and torched by the elite QB’s. I actually am positive on the D Line. It’s the back 7 and scheme that remains the problem.
  5. Agreed about Knox not stretching the field. Defenses don't have to worry about Knox running downfield routes because his hands are so suspect.
  6. Knox does a lot of things well, but his hands are so bad that you can’t really throw him the ball more than 5 yards past LOS. Could see him taking a huge paycut and lining up more as a Fullback going forward.
  7. The conservative offensive gameplan last night gave Giants no chance to beat the Chiefs. If Dart gets in and struggles, there’s no reason to keep Daboll around, so it makes sense for Daboll to keep Dart on the bench as long as he can. But Wilson is a completely gutless uninspiring QB right now, so Daboll will probably have to go to Winston to buy more time for Dart. Winston is at least likable and unafraid.
  8. At least Winston will play with some guts. Watching Wilson has to be beyond painful for Giants fans.
  9. I guess if I knew I wanted to start Dart by week 10, Wilson is the perfect gutless QB to play where absolutely no one will be upset going to Dart.
  10. Was gonna say same thing. Epenesa has always been too light in the a$$ since his rookie year. Now Rousseau looks the same. Maybe he thinks it will help his pass rush and is trying to justify his new contract, but he’s not that type of player. He doesn’t win with explosion. He wins with his length, strength and ‘slithery-ness’. Looks easier to block this year so far.
  11. Walker and Bernard made the game winning play but Bosa was best defensive player we had on field for majority of game.
  12. Agreed but that still gets called 80% of the time when your in space and the ref has clear view. Cant put yourself in that situation. Not a good decision by Kincaid and against a better team could’ve cost the game.
  13. Agreed. 3rd week of a 17 game season with only 4 days rest. Just get the win. I think we’d all like to see glimpses of what things are gonna look like in January though. We saw what the passing game can look like in 4th quarter against Ravens. The defense showed better against the Jets. Walker was the big bright spot last night. We really need Hairston to contribute by end of season as Tre isn’t a starting CB anymore. And we need Rousseau to find his game if we’re gonna beat good teams in January. Looks like we have 4 playable LB’s when Milano comes back. Safety continues to look like we aren’t gonna get many/any winning plays from.
  14. Credit to Miami. They fought and played like it was a playoff game. We played like we were bored and then escaped with a win.
  15. Im not giving kincaid a game ball. That hold on last drive could’ve cost the game.
  16. Hard to complain about Brady and the offense. Please stop throwing downfield to Knox though. He’s fine on screens and dump offs, but otherwise his hands are drive killers. And even when Cook is gashing a team, Ray Davis still can’t get you more than 2 yards per carry. Time to see what Gore can do.
  17. Loved the hit on Garrett by Bishop. This defense needs somebody who plays with an edge.
  18. Ed (Oliver) & the Turnstile’s
  19. The No Resistance.
  20. I think McDermott has to figure out a way to get Dorian on the field more. Taron has to be on the field too so not sure if Taron can play some kind of nickel/safety hybrid or milano plays less but the Linebacker and Safety mix needs to change. Rapp, Bishop, Milano… at least 1 of them needs to play less.
  21. Now that the euphoria of the win has worn off, unless something drastic changes on defense this will be McDermott’s last year as Bills head coach. The undersized Linebackers and complicated coverages that values DB’s who are in the right spot instead of guys who can play man… we’re never getting over the hump with a McDermott defense no matter how good Josh is. It’s a flawed system.
  22. It’s an impossible job to spot that correctly 10 yards down the field looking through all the bodies and seeing where the ball was when the first non-hand/foot Shakir body part hits the ground which was his butt. I don’t think refs are biased against the Bills. Just impossible to spot accurately in some cases. Almost needs to be a buzzer/button the ref pushes when he knows he needs help on a spot from the replay assist booth. That’s the main problem is when the ref on the field has to make a call or spot even though he knows he has no idea then the replay booth upholds the BS call on the field because it’s close.
  23. We have too many holes on defense to worry about backup RB, but yes I’d take Bigsby in a second. Davis looks terrible, and we need a more physical RB to get the tough yards on short yardage and goal line runs as thats suddenly become a glaring weakness.
  24. It’s why they win championships. They never stop trying to get better. I really like McBeane but my main gripe is they hold onto guys too long they’re attached to and then those guys kill us when it counts and we can’t get over the hump.
  25. Looked like Jones got moved so easily that the double-teaming O-Lineman was able to peel off and take out Bernard. Combine that with Rapp running backwards at the snap even though there was no Receiver who released from LOS on his side of field. Our 1 Tech got pushed into Rousseau, our LB’s are too small to stand up a block, and our safeties can easily be manipulated and are either too slow or not instinctive enough to make plays.
