Not saying something is gonna happen, but as the Super Bowl favorite, Beane has to be in on all these trades if nothing else to drive up the price. I actually think we make a deal for a RB in next 3 hours.
Hockenson is intriguing. Knox isn’t really a traditional TE. Would allow Knox to play more in the backfield and also some 2 Tight End looks which was clearly the plan with the OJ Howard signing.
And Hockenson’s contract is $500k this year and $9m next year.
it’d be nice to get a big, physical RB. I’d take Hunt or Gibson for a 5th rounder. Singletary is a nice back but we need a big back complement to grind out an extra yard or 2 in the red zone and in short yardage.
Kind of agree, but Green Bay was getting a lot of pressure on Allen. Made him uncomfortable and since game was still at hand, Allen was more reluctant to run. He could’ve had a ton of yards running in 2nd half but smartly didn’t take the bait. We still won by 10.
When is an innovative coach gonna carry 3-4 OL who exclusively come in for short yardage run plays?
You could make an argument that those run-only O-Linemen would be much more valuable than all the Special-Teams-only guys we carry.
I think it’s becoming pretty clear the NFL has to expand the talent pool outside of American high school football where participation is falling.
Put a few teams in europe and I’m sure the hope is that more people will start playing the sport there.
A lot of really bad takes here on both sides. I can see why Brady still wants to do what he loves and why his wife wants him around more. Sometimes things don’t work out.
Yes, but the NFLPA can’t fire the team doctors. They can only fire the UNC, which they just did.
Miami organization still seems to not find any problem in anything that happened.
That’s like blaming a boxer for not throwing in the towel on himself before he goes out for the 12th round.
They ain’t gonna admit they just had a concussion in the heat of battle. That’s why the process is set up to protect players from themselves.
This is the NFLPA doing this. Dolphins still adamant nothing was wrong.
Because NFL is a brotherhood or likes to think of itself as one. These coaches ask a lot out of their players and these players put their health on the line every day. The least a coach can do is look out for their players regardless of the protocol. Use their own eyes.
