  1. We really gotta find a way to get Hines involved more. I’d love to see Hines and Cook on the field together for a couple plays.
  2. Yep. If we are gonna advance past next weekend, it’s gonna take a more aggressive style of D. And it’s gonna take a more physical brand of offense.
  3. Haha. Hurst gonna think twice about his high stepping BS next time.
  4. Please make things easier for Josh. Run game, short passes, something that doesn’t require a highlight play almost every snap. So many parallels to Elway before Denver got him a running game.
  5. We have to get back to josh running the ball to have any chance against Bengals or Chiefs.
  6. Yes, but that doesn’t mean Jones has no talent. Credit to Daboll, but Jones is good.
  7. Daboll has done great job, but Jones can play, Barkley is elite and their Defrnsive Front 4 is elite.
  8. Miami wasn’t even gonna get the play off in time. McDermott blinked. McDaniel didn’t.
  9. Agreed. He’s great at organization/ team building and getting a team prepared, but he seems to wet his pants on these snap decisions.
  10. Because we can’t or won’t run the ball with our RB’s. Josh rightly stops running the ball and taking hits when we get up by 3 scores.
  11. Only play he makes all game and mcd calls timeout.
  12. I disagree. Owners like Kraft and Jones were almost certainly on speed dial. NFL is a $100B organization. This was its worst nightmare. No way Goodell and certainly not Vincent were calling the shots.
  13. There had to be at some or all of the 32 owners telling Goodell what to do and then feeding that to Vincent. A guy dying on the field is the worst possible thing for business. There’s no way the owners weren’t pulling the strings. Probably why it took so long to cancel. Needed to get a hold of the owners to approve the cancellation. Goodell and Vincent are highly paid PR guys put out there to take fire for the owners. They make no major decisions on their own and this would qualify as a major decision.
  14. Can’t see McDermott allowing Hyde to suit up until he’s fully healed.
  15. Haha. An all-time favorite movie of mine that holds up over time. Randolph and Mortimer are perfect depictions of NFL owners.
  16. This is 100% a Bengals source. They got screwed over the most in this situation and Brown has always been a bit of an outcast amongst the other owners. But good for them, NFL’s hypocrisy needed to be called out. A man dying on the field in front of a prime time audience is the League’s worst fear. Not because a man died, but because it would devastating for business. It’s the scene from Trading Places in the commodities pit where they’re wheeling the old billionaire off in a stretcher and he’s yelling to get the traders back in here. More worried about they’re money than anything else.
  17. Nobody deserves a bye in NFL anymore. The schedules are unbalanced and teams don’t even play the same amount of home games with the 17 game schedule.
