  1. Agreed. Kincaid is completely different player than Mayer. Twice as quick.
  2. Love it. Our slot guy went from 5’ 9” 180 lbs to this guy.
  3. There’s no way on earth the Ravens are gonna trade for Hopkins. It will be hard enough for Lamar to get OBJ enough targets.
  4. Went in 2001, the year Vick went first overall and we traded back and took Nate Clements. No tickets were distributed so hand to stand in long line to get in. Was pretty boring. Before smart phones, it was way better to be watching it on TV in your living room. And most of the people there were just dressed up to get on TV and had no idea that the Chargers traded the #1 pick the night before. Was a weird scene. I assume it is way better now.
  5. Hopkins, DT at 34, OL at 59 would be ideal scenario for Bills, but things rarely happen that way.
  6. This. We need a people mover in the interior of the O-Line. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a 1st rounder but I’ll be disappointed if we don’t draft one in top 3 rounds. This offense and O-Line needs more physicality.
  7. If Beane gets anything close to the trade value chart to trade down from pick 27, I’d think that’s the route he’ll go. Sounds like anybody available at pick 27 isn’t gonna be much better than who you’d get 10-20 picks later.
  8. There’s only 7 teams currently with enough cap room to take on his 2023 $19m salary and none of them are rumored destinations for him. So he effectively still has a no trade clause if he’s not willing to restructure.
  9. 2 years $33m for Hopkins is probably fair. Not sure why he wouldn’t agree to convert his $19m salary this year to a signing bonus. I also get why no team wants to give up premium draft picks for that contract. So if Arizona’s options are a 6th rounder without paying any of Hopkins’ 2023 salary or a 3rd rounder while paying $10m of his salary, I’d think they’d at least consider Oliver given how bad their D Line is unless they’re just completely tanking this year.
  10. Draft is about next year as much as it is about this year. DT is definitely the biggest need on the team next year since Phillips, Jones, Oliver, and Settle are all free agents next year. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Beane takes a DT with our 1st pick.
  11. Makes too much sense to trade Oliver for Hopkins. Re-allocating cap dollars to the offense and then get a 1st round DT since we have no DT’s under contract next year with or without Oliver.
  12. Laporta looked very impressive at the combine. Could be a RAC beast like Kittle. Only thing concerning were his hands. But his quickness, power and movement ability looked elite.
  13. Pretty amazing how disciplined all NFL front offices have become. Hard to imagine there’s not a team out there that would give up something for Hopkins. He must want a pretty big new deal with guaranteed money.
  14. I’d be highly surprised if the guarantees are more than vet minimum. And since he barely played last year, the $3m number is most likely heavy on NLTBE bonuses which don’t count against the current years cap.
  15. Probably an announcement coming that we’ve re-signed Jordan Phillips. Usually how these things work.
  16. I highly doubt he’s coming here to strictly be a backup. McDermott must have a plan to get him on the field or I don’t think he’d be coming to Bills.
  17. Doubt he came here to be a backup who doesn’t see the field.
  18. Agreed. Can definitely nitpick the weightings and grades because there’s a lot of numbers there, but overall it looks pretty on point.
  19. The weightings are pretty interesting. 58% for offense and 42% for offense. Sounds right but like others have said, how is he coming up with the weightings?
  20. Guess Beane isn’t an idiot after all.
  21. I like it. Somebody at OBD sending him the message that he’s gotta up his game. I don’t think he ends up getting traded unless it’s for a Hopkins, Jeudy or Simmons. More likely McBeane is trying to light a fire under him.
  22. WR, TE, OL, or DL. Off-ball LB’s have been de-valued almost as much as RB’s.
  23. Not saying he would. Timing just curious that within a couple hours of Singletary signing with Texans, Bills sign Harris. Almost like Beane was waiting to see terms of Singletary’s deal. Because Harris was hurt last year, there’s a lot of NLTBE bonus money that Harris could probably easily earn this year as well.
  24. Wouldn’t be surprised if Beane waited to see Singletary contract so he could structure Harris’s deal to preserve the 3rd round pick
  25. Couldn’t Beane just call up his buddy Schoen and have him sign a Van Wroten, Hart, or Murphy to vet minimum deals?
