Agreed. Cousins looked like he should be in a wheelchair for large chunk of the game, then slings it around like 1984 Dan Marino on the winning drive.
-
That’s not the point. Hurts threw a tailing fastball that was leading his receiver out of bounds short of the 1st down which is same result as a drop. The camera angle from the sideline showed it perfectly. Barkley is trying to turn it upfield while the ball is leading him to the sideline. That is not as easy a catch while you have to turn it upfield and stay in bounds as talking heads are making it out to be.
-
Barkley taking a lot of heat for the drop but that wasn’t a great pass. The nose of ball was tailing towards the sideline and Barkley had to to catch it and turn upfield. Ball was leading him to the sideline. Yes, he needs to catch that, but not sure he gets first down or stays in bounds if he does.

Kudos to Cousins. Got the ball down the field when he needed to on the last drive. Barkley blew the game with that drop on 3rd down.

These teams have no pass rushers
-
wow. game finally got exciting.
-
This is like watching a high school game. Maybe 4-5 passes that have travelled more than 10 yards past line of scrimmage.
-
Atlanta actually has a pretty solid team outside of their QB
-
He completely limits that offense. He can’t move and doesn’t have the arm strength to challenge the defense. Penix will be starting soon.
-
Neither of then can move but at least Rogers gets can still zip it around the field. Nit sure Cousins can throw the ball more than 30 yards.
-
don’t even need to play safeties against Cousins anymore. Cant get the ball downfield.

Non Bill, unheralded, under the radar favorite player.

Whitehead on tampa then the jets now back at tampa. Love how he plays. Physical but not stupid. kind of a poor man’s rodney harrison. A winning player. -
I’m not sure we could beat Carolina if Trubisky had to start. Green Bay beats a not awful Colts team with a mobile backup QB thrown to the curb by the Titans. A backup QB who can use his legs actually gives you a chance to win a few games when your starter is out.

A small part of the Chiefs secret sauce.

Clutch QB, clutch kicker, HOF coach, and a Chris Jones. -
And another 55 yarder
-
You can’t keep a shaky kicker. I’d rather cycle through a couple until we find a clutch one by the end of the season. Bass is done.
-
He will almost certainly cost us games this year. Washington signed their Kicker off the street this week and he went 7 for 7 today.
-
33 for 37 from 50+ and we’re afraid to let our kicker try from 45+.
-
Credit where it’s due. Shadeur looks fantastic tonight. Best I’ve seen him play. He’s been getting rid of the ball quickly and has been extremely accurate. Impressive performance.
-
might’ve been tipped but it looked so bad off his foot that it wouldn’t have mattered.

Von Miller proves the doubters wrong
BuffaloRebound replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Best case scenario I was hoping Von could give us what Floyd did last year. Looking promising that he will. -
It’s nice seeing McDermott play the young depth guys on defense instead of re-treads. They have chance to get better and make winning plays instead of the AJ Kleins and the Sirhan Neal’s of the world.

Week 2, Bills v. Fish, GAME BALLS!

Miller. Not sure if Miami’s OL is that bad, but Von showed glimpses of his pre-ACL injury self. -
Spencer Brown signs 4 year extension
BuffaloRebound replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cash/_/year/2024 $19.8m guaranteed at signing. Beane put in a lot of protection for the Bills in the contract in case Brown regresses or gets hurt. Seems like a fair contract.
