Scripted plays to knox and lesser extent Davis are drive killers, so are Cook runs up the gut. When we finally abandon those plays we score.

More worried about urgency than playing loose. Stop killing drives by running plays for guys who can’t catch or running our 190lb RB up the gut. Going to Kincaid good first step but it takes too long for the offense to adjust.

Agreed. The defense ain’t good, but the offense has zero injury excuses. You can’t score zero and three points in back to back first halves and expect to win.

It’s really time to move on from Davis and Knox as anything other than your 4th and 5th options. Diggs, Kincaid and deadline trade for a WR.

Knox shouldn’t go more than a couple yards downfield for passes. The offense will be fine if Knox is relegated to Tight End #2 and legit WR is brought in at trade deadline.

I think it’s hard to assimilate a WR in middle of season no matter how good he is. A premier RB like Barkley probably costs less draft capital and provides more immediate impact.

I’d actually like to see Knox as an H-back more. He’s good at blitz pickup and his strength is more run after catch. Kind of how Jusczyk is used by 49ers. They need to give up on him being a traditional tight end.

Not sure why the Raiders would trade him, but Adams contract wouldn’t be problem for the Bills. $3m or so left for 2023, then $17.5m for 2024.

Hard to compare WR’s on different teams and offenses. I think at least 50% of those number 2’s would be more dynamic and dependable than Davis with Josh throwing to them and Diggs commanding the defense’s attention. And part of the problem with Davis is Knox. You can’t have 2 of your top 3-4 pass catchers who kill drives with drops. Maybe the answer is Kincaid starts becoming that guy opposite Diggs. Davis and Knox don’t scare defenses.
