  1. The Ravens play with a physicality on defense that makes opponents uncomfortable. Our D gonna have to put their big boy pants on at Cincy.
  2. This is the test to see if Mcdermott’s defense any different than Frazier’s. Frazier had no answers for Cincy’s offense.
  3. You know Cincy licking their chops seeing Poyer at LB. They bullied our undersized D for 5 quarters last year. On a positive note, Burrow and Chase won’t have a 70% version of Tre White to pick on. Also a positive that Hayden Hurst no longer there. Dude feasts on the Bills going back to his Ravens days.
  4. I think it’s fortuitous that we’re playing the Bengals the week of the trade deadline. McBeane can’t fool themselves in regards to the Bills weaknesses with the very real possibility of being bullied by the Bengals coming up. I think a Donta Foreman type hammer RB to replace Harris and a stout DT next to Oliver are a must. Probably wouldn’t cost more than a 4th and 6th rounder to fill those needs.
  5. That Offside lost the game as much as the missed kick. It’s amazing how dumb and undisciplined most NFL teams are including our own. It’s no wonder hoodie dominated the League for 20 years when he had Brady. Dumb and undisciplined players aren’t welcome on his teams, but you do need talented players too as the past 3 years have shown.
  6. maybe the very real threat of getting buried next week against Bengals forces McBeane to do something at trade deadline.
  7. Can probably get Leonard Williams for a 5th or 6th rounder. Giants are done. Only concern is that Dexter Lawrence is the DT making all the plays. Not sure if Lawrence is playing at All Pro level or Williams is on the downside.
  8. yes. giants/jets should be entertaining. Lots of Bills relevant story-lines. Cincy/49ers should also be entertaining big. Hope to watch a fair amount of both those games.
  9. The 2nd punt return hold after Siran Neal cost 33 yards in field position is the biggest indictment that this is an undisciplined team. The fact that an end of the roster player in Cam Lewis could even come close to committing a hold in that situation is damning. If Cam Lewis don’t fear for his job, how is there any urgency/accountability anywhere on the roster?
  10. There’s no way mcdermott is ahead of anybody who’s won a super bowl. He’s in the Ron Rivera boat but Rivera probably higher because he’s been to a super bowl.
  11. I’d take reid, hoodie, mcvay, sirianni, payton, Harbaugh, Tomlin, Shanahan, Caroll, Vrabel, pederson, and maybe a couple more like the guys in green bay and detroit and a few others. Mcdermott objectively fits in the 12-18 range and could be bumped down because he’s doing it with a top 5 QB.
  12. Mcdermott is a very good coach who tightens up at the end of games causing his team to also play tight in those situations.
  13. even more amazing he’s still catching 90% of his targets on the season when 2 plays like that are factored in to the 90%.
  14. amen. if godwin turns his head around, this would’ve made 13 seconds look like good defense.
  15. I don’t remember 2 missed targets unless they’re counting deflection interception by Winfield as a target to kincaid. Nonetheless, Kincaid needs the ball more. He’s catching 90% of his targets.
  16. Agree with your logic, but we all know an extra time out would’ve been used on the defensive side of the ball. It’s like the opposing offense is working with their timeouts plus the Bills timeouts at end of games.
  17. Be more like Josh. Coach with the swagger you should because #17 is on your side. No more turtle coaching at end of games.
  18. It’s interesting that he seems to be rushing a lot against the other teams Right Tackle when you think he’d have less bend in his surgically repaired right knee. His bend is what makes him a Hall of Famer and it’s not there yet, but you’d think he’d have more bend going outside against Left Tackles with his left knee.
  19. due to end of game turtle coaching. I actually think mcdermott is very good coach until crunch time. It’s possible he’s that way because Josh has shown a propensity for some Yolo meltdowns, but we ain’t reaching the mountain top until mcdermott coaches to win at the end of games.
  20. It was definitely a signing 90% brought on due to 13 seconds of turtle coaching.
  21. Agreed. How can a 340 pound DT who’s got a 230lb baker mayfield fully wrapped up not take him to the ground without a penalty?
  22. I just don’t think Mcdermott is good at end of game decisions where feeling the flow of the game and specifically factoring in the other teams strengths and weaknesses is more important than analytics that tell you generic percentages. He’s like the anti Mariano Rivera.
  23. Other than the first 3 quarters of last nights game, they haven’t been dominant at all the past 4 weeks.
  24. Normally I’d say it’s not a big deal, but Mayfield has the arm to reach the end zone from his own 35-40 yard line. He’s shown that in the past. The goal should’ve been staying out of his range to reach the end zone, not taking 4 seconds off clock. Mac Jones or Deshaun Watson, yeah I’m trading 7-10 yards for 4 seconds there because there’s not enough time for them to reach the end zone.
  25. What are you even talking about at this point? It was a great play by Harty where he took advantage of a terrible punt. Had nothing to do with blocking.
