Why not. Can’t be worse than Ford and Settle. If we’re really gonna go for it this year though we gotta try to trade for a good DT. Our young LB’s need the help upfront.
Can you really blame them after all the stuff that’s happened to the team and Buffalo area the last 2 years. Plus a lot of the young core has gotten paid. Mo money Mo problems.
The Davis fumble against Giants and trying to force the ball to Knox on 1st play against Pats destroyed any early offensive momentum. Mix in a whole bunch of Cook runs up the gut for 3 yards max and you git an offense that sputters out of the gate the past couple weeks. Good news is Kincaid starting to look as good as advertised and the division looks winnable. Add Kendrick Bourne or Slayton for 4th round pick or a premier RB like Barkley or Jacobs for a 3rd round pick and I think the offense can carry the team again.
More worried about urgency than playing loose. Stop killing drives by running plays for guys who can’t catch or running our 190lb RB up the gut. Going to Kincaid good first step but it takes too long for the offense to adjust.
Agreed. The defense ain’t good, but the offense has zero injury excuses. You can’t score zero and three points in back to back first halves and expect to win.
Knox shouldn’t go more than a couple yards downfield for passes. The offense will be fine if Knox is relegated to Tight End #2 and legit WR is brought in at trade deadline.
I think it’s hard to assimilate a WR in middle of season no matter how good he is. A premier RB like Barkley probably costs less draft capital and provides more immediate impact.
I’d actually like to see Knox as an H-back more. He’s good at blitz pickup and his strength is more run after catch. Kind of how Jusczyk is used by 49ers. They need to give up on him being a traditional tight end.
