  1. Actually a roster bonus of $5m too, so 3 years remaining at $50m plus only $1.25m of this years salary. And Bears would take $7.5m dead cap hit. Bears have $10m in cap space. I think most would’ve brought back Edmunds at $50m over 4 years with only 2024 salary guaranteed. He’s been in the defense long enough to play Milano’s position.
  2. Would be hilarious if Bills traded a 3rd rounder to Bears to bring him back. There’s surprisingly only $5m in dead cap to Bears if they traded him. Looks like there’d be 3 years $45 left on his contract and Bills would only pay half of his $2.5m salary this year. So essentially 3.5 years $46m. Kinda like what houston astros did with verlander.
  3. I’m happy with this. They need a battering ram that has a little more tread on the tires than Murray.
  4. A stout DT and a power RB/Harris replacement please.
  5. Wilson was terrible yesterday. 2 fumbles lost, taking a sack on 4th down when game was 99.9% lost.
  6. I’m loving the timing of this game. Time to find out if we’re contenders or pretenders.
  7. Even though it doesn’t feel like it, the Field Goal was right call. Dude had to miss a 35 yarder and then Thibodreaux had to gift them a timeout for Jets to still spike ball with 1 second left. Literally everything had to go wrong to lose that game but it did so there’s something to not giving the ball back to the offense despite analytics and everything else telling you otherwise.
  8. Bengals are physical on both sides of ball with an excellent QB who will take the 6-7 yard pass all day.
  9. The Ravens play with a physicality on defense that makes opponents uncomfortable. Our D gonna have to put their big boy pants on at Cincy.
  10. This is the test to see if Mcdermott’s defense any different than Frazier’s. Frazier had no answers for Cincy’s offense.
  11. You know Cincy licking their chops seeing Poyer at LB. They bullied our undersized D for 5 quarters last year. On a positive note, Burrow and Chase won’t have a 70% version of Tre White to pick on. Also a positive that Hayden Hurst no longer there. Dude feasts on the Bills going back to his Ravens days.
  12. I think it’s fortuitous that we’re playing the Bengals the week of the trade deadline. McBeane can’t fool themselves in regards to the Bills weaknesses with the very real possibility of being bullied by the Bengals coming up. I think a Donta Foreman type hammer RB to replace Harris and a stout DT next to Oliver are a must. Probably wouldn’t cost more than a 4th and 6th rounder to fill those needs.
  13. That Offside lost the game as much as the missed kick. It’s amazing how dumb and undisciplined most NFL teams are including our own. It’s no wonder hoodie dominated the League for 20 years when he had Brady. Dumb and undisciplined players aren’t welcome on his teams, but you do need talented players too as the past 3 years have shown.
  14. maybe the very real threat of getting buried next week against Bengals forces McBeane to do something at trade deadline.
  15. Can probably get Leonard Williams for a 5th or 6th rounder. Giants are done. Only concern is that Dexter Lawrence is the DT making all the plays. Not sure if Lawrence is playing at All Pro level or Williams is on the downside.
  16. yes. giants/jets should be entertaining. Lots of Bills relevant story-lines. Cincy/49ers should also be entertaining big. Hope to watch a fair amount of both those games.
  17. The 2nd punt return hold after Siran Neal cost 33 yards in field position is the biggest indictment that this is an undisciplined team. The fact that an end of the roster player in Cam Lewis could even come close to committing a hold in that situation is damning. If Cam Lewis don’t fear for his job, how is there any urgency/accountability anywhere on the roster?
  18. There’s no way mcdermott is ahead of anybody who’s won a super bowl. He’s in the Ron Rivera boat but Rivera probably higher because he’s been to a super bowl.
  19. I’d take reid, hoodie, mcvay, sirianni, payton, Harbaugh, Tomlin, Shanahan, Caroll, Vrabel, pederson, and maybe a couple more like the guys in green bay and detroit and a few others. Mcdermott objectively fits in the 12-18 range and could be bumped down because he’s doing it with a top 5 QB.
  20. Mcdermott is a very good coach who tightens up at the end of games causing his team to also play tight in those situations.
  21. even more amazing he’s still catching 90% of his targets on the season when 2 plays like that are factored in to the 90%.
  22. amen. if godwin turns his head around, this would’ve made 13 seconds look like good defense.
  23. I don’t remember 2 missed targets unless they’re counting deflection interception by Winfield as a target to kincaid. Nonetheless, Kincaid needs the ball more. He’s catching 90% of his targets.
  24. Agree with your logic, but we all know an extra time out would’ve been used on the defensive side of the ball. It’s like the opposing offense is working with their timeouts plus the Bills timeouts at end of games.
  25. Be more like Josh. Coach with the swagger you should because #17 is on your side. No more turtle coaching at end of games.
