  1. I am starting to agree. Especially for the type of offense the Bills are running.
  2. 20% chance of Bills getting a 1st down and running out the clock - Jauron would have called 3 running plays no doubt and Pats would have known this and stacked the line. 85% chance of Pats putting it in the end zone after the punt. So, about 66% chance Pats still win.
  3. Wilfork is still a piece of garbage. He stuck his finger in Bell's face in the 1st half. I hope the Bills send the tape to the League so that POS gets fined again. That said, I'd love to have that piece of garbage on the Bills.
  4. Couldn't agree more. The verdict is in. You can chalk up a game like this once in a blue moon as bad luck. This has happened too many times. As far as I'm concerned, the game was lost on the 2nd-to-last New England drive when the Bills basically told the Pats, "we'll let you score but hopefully take some time off the clock". Until Jauron and his pu$$y attitutde are gone, there will be more gut-wrenching losses like this.
  5. I don't know how anyone can be surprised by this loss. It is only shocking if you're not a Bills fan. This is a mediocre team with a lifeless wimp as a coach. The game was lost when the defense went into pu$$y hope-the-time-runs-out mode.
  6. It's got nothing to do with karma from the fans and everything to do with a lifeless pu$$y coach who doesn't play to win.
  7. Including himself. Organization of losers. That is the bottom line.
  8. That's basically the value of the team regardless what Ralph does. Look at just the past 10 years and the money flushed down the drain on horrible draft picks, free agents, coaches, and front office personnel that have produced one winning season at 9-7. If money is all he cares about since he can surely get no enjoyment watching his team, I still don't see how he gets any enjoyment from giving Langston Walker, Dockery, and Kelsay large contracts and paying a front office that routinely throws his money out the window on bad signings.
  9. The marketing guy is in charge of all football decisions that the meddling owner doesn't inject himself into.
  10. How can Ralph be getting any enjoyment out of this? To be paying upwards of $150m in player, coaches, and front office salary for this turd of an outfit would make me want to vomit if I was the owner. Owens is the only thing bringing people through the gates. You could basically trade every employee in the organization except Owens and the marketing team for their lowest paid counter-part and produce the same bottom line.
  11. Especially when the inexpensive younger guy has the potential to get better. I was surprised there wasn't more of this last weekend. Reed, Kelsay, Schobel, Denney, Florence. All the tickets are sold. Ralph has/had the opportunity of a lifetime to purge close to $20m in salary this year alone and not lose anything on the field. Walker and Rhodes are just a small fraction of what could be saved.
  12. I agree somewhat with this. Edwards pushes the ball when he throws. That throw at the Blue Jays game showed it clearly. He doesn't get on top of the ball and doesn't have enough velocity to make certain throws. But I think he could be a really good West Coast QB utilizing his smarts, accuracy on the short and intermediate throws, and his athleticism. The Bills need to roll him out of the pocket more.
  13. What is the point of a 260 pound run-stopper at defensive end? Especially when the Bills don't get any pass rush from their DT's or LB's.
  14. McCoy looks like Bruce Smith out there. I can't remember watching a DT make as many plays in the backfield as McCoy tonight. That said, we need a QB.
  15. The way it looked, he'll be lucky if he only separated the shoulder and didn't break anything.
  16. Who cares whether the offense is simple or complex? The only thing that matters is moving the chains and putting points on the board.
  17. I would love to have those problems right now. Instead, I get to complain about a soft, boring, border-line mediocre team who has no chance of beating the top 6-8 teams in the NFL.
  18. Ralph made $39.5m in operating profit and approximately $26m in unrealized gains last year according to Forbes. And he can't afford a real GM and Coach?
  19. Pacman in 2010 and Vick in 2011. Ralph won't have to fire Jauron and buy-out his contract, and Brandon can continue to figure out a way to sell tickets without improving the team.
  20. The GM says it all about this organization. Ralph cares first and foremost about selling tickets. Instead of improving the product on the field, he puts a marketing guy in charge.
  21. I think a high-profile cut is in order. Unless Jauron is truly lifeless and goes out with a whimper, he knows his job is on the line and something needs to get shaken up.
  22. I will not be pleased if this team goes 5-11, while giving good money to Walker, Whitner, Kelsay, Schobel, and the rest of the crew. No one pays to see those guys. I don't know anyone who thinks this is a play-off team. Ticket sales won't be a problem this year and the fanbase doesn't want another 7-9 team. If Ralph cares about money, which we know he does, it is a no-brainer to cut those guys or in Whitner's case, maybe he has a little bit of trade value. He loses nothing and gains $20m plus and some young guys get on the field.
  23. I'd rather win 2-3 games fewer with the young guys than have another 7-9 mediocre season. Plus, if you don't cut veterans before the 1st game, their salaries are guaranteed for the year. Most if not all of the games are sold out thanks to Owens. Take advantage of that and start the rebuilding process now. Next year will be worse ticket-wise without Owens.
  24. Well Said. If I were Ralph, I would cut all the dead weight before the first game and save up for a legitimate GM/Coach. This year is a unique situation where TO basically sold out all the games. Take advantage of that and cut Kelsay, Schobel, Denney, Walker, Whitner, Reed, and any other veteran who can be replaced by a younger player that wouldn't cause a gaping hole. Maybe the Bills win 4 games instead of 6 or 7, but the young guys get experience, TO provides the entertainment on the field, and Ralph saves $20m plus that can go towards a real GM/Coach.
  25. Owens has taken care of ticket sales. This should be a rebuilding year anyway. I'd rather go 3-13 than 7-9 again. Get a real GM and coach, draft a franchise QB with a top 3 pick, and let the young guys like Maybin, Bell, Wood, Levitre, Byrd, Harris, Johnson, Hardy, and Nelson get playing time.
