For me it all comes down to how the rest of the NFL values Bills players. Other NFL teams were willing to either pay more than their Bills production suggested or give up high draft picks for Woods, Hogan, Goodwin and Watkins. Meanwhile Tyrod took a $10m pay cut to stay on the Bills in a QB starved league. Pretty obvious what rest of NFL sees as the major problem with the Bills passing game.

A bit concerning how little the USC coaches trust their passing game when they have the supposed top NFL prospect at QB. Texas is daring them to pass the ball and USC keeps running the ball for 1 yard.

Totally agree. Players need more than 4 days in between games to recover in today's NFL. Thursday night games have become what the Toronto series became. Time to put them to bed.

Alex Smith looks bad. Never had a big arm, but he looks like he lost whatever fastball he had. His non-checkdown throws are all wounded ducks. In typical Chiefs fashion though, they are hanging around in a game they have no business being in.

If rest of NFL had to play these a-holes twice a year, they'd be demoralized and stink too.

After New England, Pittsburgh, and Oakland, I don't think it's that much of a stretch to think Bills can compete with the next tier in the AFC for a playoff spot. Defense should be solid. Running game will be good. Comes down to Tyrod. Wonder if Beane and McDermott will regret the Sammy trade if we finish a game out of wild card spot. Have no problem with any of their other moves, but there's no one on roster who can give you what a healthy Watkins does.

It's actually a fair article by Rodak. Unfortunately there's no place for nuance these days. You can't tank a season and build a winning culture. Bills have put themselves in good position going forward with draft picks and retained vets who they think foster a winning culture.
