    Even if Beane offered two 1st rounders, I’m sure Oakland would’ve still taken Chicago’s offer to get him out of AFC.

    Beane can’t give away the 2019 1st rounder because of the likelihood of it being a top 10 pick. Other teams will almost surely part with their 1st rounder for Mack, so unless Gruden has a thing for McCarron or Peterman, Mack won’t be coming to Buffalo.

    I’ve seen the same thing. He looks like he could be an all world OLB, but he doesn’t seem to tackle well especially when the play is coming right at him. His ability in pursuit and in pass coverage jumps out at you but if he plays MLB he’s still gonna have to show he can be stout when the play is up the middle right at him.

    I'd love to have Mack, but I wouldn't trade our 1st rounder. Even with Mack, it's most likely a top 5 pick. That's too much for a non-QB you'll also have to pay $20m per year. I'd give them our 2nd rounder in 2019 and a 1st in 2020.

    Good for him. Dude seems like a diva but can’t deny he’s the most electrifying player in the league. He’s probably already earned that money from the jerseys he’s sold and eyeballs he’s drawn to the TV.

    McCarron has a 2 years and 6m left on his contract with basically no remaining guaranteed money. Very trade-able contract.

    I’d like to thank the Bengals for that butt-whooping. Exposed a lot of this team’s problems. Probably hard to tell how bad the pass rush is vs that horrible O-Line in practice and vice versa.

    Did we get a hand much less a hit on a Cincy QB the entire game? It’s not just Lawson. Our DT’s get zero penetration. Not hyperbole to say we have worst pass rush and worst O-Line in NFL.

    Kind of bizarre that Jets interest in Mack trade is so public. Maybe they are leaking to drive up the cost for a team in their own division. Higher demand means higher price. That said, I can’t see Raiders trading Mack to an AFC team unless no NFC team is making a compelling offer.

    He actually could have a huge say because no team is trading away a 1st rounder for somebody they can’t sign long term. That said, I’d think he’d be alright signing with any team willing to give him a huge contract.

    Appreciate what Tyrod did for us, but dear god that 2 minute drill brought up terrible memories. He just doesn’t seem capable of getting up to the line quickly and making passes down the field.

    Jackson can’t throw from the pocket. Looked good on TD when they rolled him out. Almost feel like Baltimore drafted him to light a fire under Flacco’s butt than anything else.

    Hard to think of an MLB past or present built like him. Edmunds built more like a giant safety than a traditional MLB. NFL is a passing league but teams are gonna run up the middle until Edmunds proves he can hold up.

    I think some people underestimate what an elite pass rusher can do for your team. Hughes is a decent pass rusher but he isn’t disrupting offenses on a consistent basis. If Raiders deal Mack, I really hope Bills at least make an attractive offer.
