  1. Browns are messing with the Giants. Not buying any of this nonsense. Hopefully Beane can use all the headfakes from Cleveland to gauge what the Giants, Jets and Broncos are gonna do.
  2. Giants were always trading down. Bet they’re still holding out hope Denver wants to trade up before they drop down to 12.
  3. Unless they have a trade in place for Eli or he’s in on the con job and announces his retirement after the draft, there’s no way in hell they are taking a QB at 2. He is too beloved by the fan base to do something like that to him, even if it’s the smart long term thing to do.
  4. Giants aren’t taking a QB at 2. I think top 2 QB’s on Bills draft board are Rosen and Mayfield. I don’t think Darnold and Allen are ready to play this year. Getting rid of a Tyrod and signing McCarron points to Bills going after a QB who can play immediately.
  5. What type of lowlife digs up tweets from a 16 year old on the eve of the biggest day of the guys life?
  6. With all the focus on the draft, who are the best available free agent LB’s, interior OL, and WR’s?
  7. Jackson under 17.5 is the best bet.
  8. I just can’t see Bills trading up to 2 for anyone besides Darnold and I’m not even sure Darnold is worth what it will take to get up there. I’m fine with Beane waiting it out for Rosen or Allen.
  9. The only thing it would guarantee is disaster. Neither guy would sign until one of them is traded.
  10. Not indifferent, but I’m not trading three 1st rounders plus more for Darnold when I can get Rosen, Mayfield or Allen for pick 12 and pick 53. Or even stay put and get Jackson at 12. We are getting one of those 5. None of those guys is can’t miss and people a lot smarter than me who do this for a living can’t come to any consensus.
  11. Why would Beane trade the farm for a QB the Giants don’t want at 2? Really seems the top 4 or even top 5 QB’s are all crapshoots. Beane still needs to come out of the draft with one of the top 4/5, so my guess is picks 7 and 8 are where the action should be for Beane. Most likely only have to give up one of our 2nd rounders to move up a couple spots.
  12. I wouldn’t trust Elway at all. He could easily be playing Beane so Bills don’t jump ahead of them. Denver needs a franchise QB and I can’t see them helping us get one. If I’m Beane, I pull my offer for pick 5 Wednesday night if there is an outstanding offer. 6 and 2 are more likely trade-up possibilities than 5.
  13. Giants are trying the shake the Broncos and Browns down the way the Colts shook down the Jets. Move back a couple of spots and still get a boatload of picks. Once that is exhausted, then they’ll entertain Beane’s offer.
  14. Looks like know matter what Beane does there’s gonna be a lot of unhappy people come Thursday night.
  15. We are not taking one of the top 4 QB’s at 12. If we really want one of them, Beane will go up and get them. He’s not waiting for a guy he really wants to fall to 12. Better chance of taking Lamar Jackson at 22 than Allen or Rosen at 12.
  16. Agreed. I wouldn’t trust Elway at all. If Denver doesn’t agree to a trade before the draft starts, do the deal with Indy at 6 and get up to 2 if Darnold is there.
  17. 12, 22, and 56 for 6 and 36. Get it done. Or 12, 22, and 56 for 5 and 40.
  18. I actually think this is a smart play by the Browns. They have enough young guys on their roster and 5 picks in the top 64. If Barkley is the number 1 player on their board, I’d give the Giants pick 33 to grab Barkley.
  19. Things are certainly lining up nicely if Bills want to trade up to 5 or 6.
  20. This should’ve been the biggest red flag of them all. Locker seems like a genuine good dude, but all these scouts and GM’s get paid to figure out how important football is to them. Peyton Manning going back to school was a different era and he supposedly was avoiding the Jets. Locker basically pissed away $30m going back to Washington. As Hasselbeck said, he’s not motivated by what motivates most other people. I think that’s where there may be some similarities with Rosen.
  21. This is the deal Bills should make. If we can't get to 2 before next Thursday, 5 is the perfect spot to be in.
  22. If I’m Beane, I offer 12, 22, and 53 to Broncos for 5. That’s a big over-payment but worth it in my opinion because it eliminates the only other legit competition to take a QB in top 5. Then I offer next years 1 to Giants for pick 2. Giants still get Chubb, Barkley, or Nelson and pick up a 1st next year while building around a 38 year old QB. If I stay at 5, at worst I get to pick between 2 of the top 4 QB’s.
  23. Denver is the better spot at 5. If I’m gonna overpay to get up to 6, overpay to get to 5. It eliminates the only other legit candidate besides Browns and Jets who could take a QB in top 5 and it freezes the Giants at 2 and Browns at 4, making the price to move up from 5 cheaper.
  24. I appreciate the info guys like Breer collect and pass on, but when it comes to predicting where QB’s are gonna get drafted these guys are throwing darts or purposely being misled. Guys like Mayock and even McShay/Kiper are actually good at grading and predicting what range non-QB prospects are gonna get drafted. Predicting where QB’s go is about a lot more than production and measurables. Wouldn’t shock me if Rosen or Mayfield go 1. They have no idea how any of the teams have the QB’s ranked.
  25. No it wouldn’t. Barkley isnt getting past the Giants. So Cleveland could either take Chubb or get a 2019 1st rounder and Shady. What are the odds both Chubb and Garrett are on the Browns in 4 years? Chubb is either a bust or you can’t afford to pay both Chubb and Garrett in 4 years. McCoy has 1-2 good years left and immediately changes the losing stench in the locker room.
