Darnold a poor man’s Andrew Luck?

That Fede guy was one of the few D-Lineman getting up the field last night. Not sure what the numbers are gonna be on the DL, but out of the non-lock guys up front, he was the most noticeable. We need Murphy healthy ASAP and/or get Mack here somehow. Run defense seemed to be everyone’s main worry from last night but we will get torched by good QB’s if we give them 4 or 5 seconds to throw on majority of drop backs.

Yes, Allen is a little raw, but the best QB’s in NFL make you cover the whole field. Allen can make every throw. Darnold seems like a guy that can’t beat you outside the numbers.

I kind of like that some of these DB’s are going after Allen before he even plays a game. Tells me they’re already worried about him and what he could become. You don’t talk trash against a guy you think is gonna be irrelevant. And it gives Allen some extra motivation.

I’d almost be surprised if Mack isn’t traded. Not saying it will necessarily be to the Bills but Gruden’s giant ego combined with Oakland’s cash problems give Mack all the leverage. Gruden thinks he doesn’t need him and Davis can’t pay him. Can’t see them passing up an attractive offer.

I think Hughes and Bills 2019 1st rounder trumps any of those Green Bay offers. This is where everybody predicting Bills as a 4 or 5 win team actually helps us. And Hughes has 2 years and $13m left on his deal. His sack numbers are down but that’s a team friendly deal for a guy who pressures the QB.

Seems to be a lot of delusional reporters as well then.

I wouldn’t discount Gruden trading Mack because Gruden’s that crazy and that over-confident in himself. But I don’t see Beane matching what another team would give up for Mack.

I’d trade a 1st rounder for Mack if it was top 5 protected, but not sure NFL allows what is a common practice in NBA due to lack of draft lottery which NFL totally needs to institute. If Bills pick falls in top 5, then Raiders get choice of our 2nd rounder or 2020 1st rounder.

Beane wouldn’t trade next year’s 1st rounder for a QB. Can’t see him trading it for Mack, no matter how good he is.

Gruden definitely has some Rex Ryan in him. Maybe he’ll bring Percy Harvin put of retirement too.

Patriots prove it pays to cheat. The punishment or lack thereof is almost always worth it. Have to hand it to them. Kraft and Belichik’s greatest strength is finding people with no morals who will stop at nothing to succeed.

What would’ve happened to Patricia if he was a draft prospect and didn’t disclose this info to teams? This is a lot more serious than a 15 year old’s twitter posts.

How can anyone have an issue with this story being reported? Everything reported is a fact. That’s the media’s job. I think disclosing that you were indicted by a grand jury for a sexual assault is something that an employer would like to know. Sucks for him if he was innocent, but still something you should come clean about if you got nothing to hide.

It’d be nice to get Allen a WR that can run past people. Coleman from Cleveland is supposedly odd man out and on trading block. He was highly thought of out of Baylor and hard to hold his last 2 years against him with Kizer and Kessler throwing him passes.

Hard to question McBeane coming off a year where everyone thought they were tanking and they broke a 17 year playoff drought. Seems like they can try to win now and still aim to build a super bowl contender in the future.

Bellichik is the ultimate AFC East troll. I think he pays guys in the division more than theyre worth just so he doesn’t have to play them twice a year. If it works out in New England, that’s a bonus.

Seems like Beane made sure he was the only team the Giants and Browns would’ve traded down with and then honed in on the Broncos knowing one of his top 3 QB’s was gonna be there at 5 if Beane wasn’t doing a deal with Giants or Browns. With the Jets trading to 3 almost 2 months before the draft, seems like Bills and Jets both viewed this draft as having 3 top QB’s. Rosen really must’ve rubbed teams the wrong way.

Ralph was never going to leave. He just used the threat to get WNY businesses and individuals to open their wallets. Brandon should've been selling used cars instead of running an NFL team. The Terrell Owens experiment hand his fingerprints all over it and basically sums up his tenure running the Bills.

Gotta get Allen some help. Look at the difference in Goff last year when he was given good coaching and more weapons.

I have no idea if Allen was the right pick, but Beane and McDermott know a lot more about football than I ever will. They broke a 17 year playoff drought in their 1st year in Buffalo. I don’t consider myself a mindless sheep, but they certainly deserve the benefit of the doubt more than any previous Bills regime this century.

He’s basically the LB version of Clowney and we got him at 16.

I actually like that Allen has a lot of doubters. Less pressure and more motivation to prove everybody wrong. Beane is clearly swinging for the fences with the Allen pick. And the Edmunds pick for that matter. These guys have All Pro potential.
