We do need a legit backup QB. Peterman can’t be anything other than a #3 QB. A guy like Matt Moore is probably a better and less expensive option though.

Agreed. As a Bills fan for 35 years, I can handle losing. The painful thing is watching defenses pin their ears back and basically bully our offense while opposing QB’s pick apart our defense. It’s like being married to a boxer who gets their butt kicked every round. Your just hoping the bell rings to finish the round. It’s a lot more fun as a fan when your team is the aggressor regardless of the outcome.

Jets D gave Taylor no respect as a passer. They were blitzing on almost every play as they had no fear he could beat them with his arm. Once Mayfield started slinging it all over the field Jets D looked lost. Mayfield took away their aggressiveness.

Picking on the Bills is like picking on the weakest kid at school. It’s fun for the talking heads and there’s no repercussions for them as we’re a small market team that doesn’t impact their ratings.

He was not ready to play in the NFL. His coaches may have ruined his career by playing him too early. He needs to increase his arm strength before he’s ready for more than anything other than a #3 QB role. I like McDermott but his Peterman decisions will haunt him for awhile.

Being able to stand tall in the pocket and deliver when the pass rush is closing in is a talent Peterman doesn’t have. He also doesn’t have enough arm to reset his feet in the pocket and still be able to deliver on time. He is not an NFL QB because if it. You can look good in practice wearing a red jersey when you know you’re not gonna get hit. Preseason is the same to some extent as everyone but Gregg Williams doesn’t pressure the QB the same way they do in the regular season.

These coaches and front office personnel supposedly sleep at the office and work 18 hours per day. How on earth do you put in that time for the last 9 months and put that turd of a product out in the field? I don’t care if you’re rebuilding, usually it takes a few games for teams to figure you out even if you’re terrible. Yes, breaking the 17 year drought was great, but these guys are probably a little too secure in their jobs putting that dumpster fire on the field yesterday.

Yes. If Matt Ryan is a top 10 QB, there’s not many good QB’s in the NFL. Slow in the pocket and his arm looked average.

Unless the O-Line significantly improves, Bills will need more than 2 QB’s to get through the season. Throw Lynch to the wolves and see what he’s got.
