What the hell? mccarthy should be fired -
Higgins will get crazy money. Only reason he hits the market is because they already have Chase and a $50m per year QB. 24 year old #1 WR’s who hit free agency will break the bank.

Kickers are 26/27 in FGs against us this year

Martin was good today, but we seem to consistently lose the special teams battle every week. 2 more kick/punt coverage penalties and a punt return fumble and their kicker was money. -

I think it's time to activate Fournette
BuffaloRebound replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure why we gave him ball on 1st down then to Cook on 2nd down with a minute left. Probably would’ve been 3rd and 4 instead of 3rd and 9. After 2 fumbles Cook wasn’t even trying to get upfield -
Week 16, Bills v. WVs - GAME BALLS
BuffaloRebound replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oliver was Bruce-like at end of game. Martin was huge. The punt down 10-0 changed the game. And the punt out of the end zone was also huge. -

Honestly, if i’m gonna lose I’ll take how the Eagles defense played that last possession. They gave Lock no easy throws. The other team gets paid too and the Seattle WR’s made 3 great catches and Lock threw 2 nice balls. The pick Hurts threw in the end zone up 4 and driving late was what killed the Eagles. -

his lower leg/shin looks like it’s on the ground and he gains control right before his knee goes out of bounds, but Seattle definitely fortunate the ref called it a catch because I doubt that gets reversed either way. -

those seattle wr’s are legit. might be best trio in NFL. Walker is a top 5 RB too. -

I have no faith in Lock driving 92 yards but kind of amazing Seattle has chance to win. -
Sounds like something fans of losing teams complain about. If it works, keep doing it. Was the difference between 3 points and 7 points on 1st drive. Allen has taken a lot of hard hits in his career and has earned some of these calls. Plus he’s probably the toughest QB going so keep doing it if it works.

Bobby Wagner looked 50 years old on that first drive. Philly targeted him whenever they needed to convert on 3rd down. -
Have we seen the last of Micah Hyde?
BuffaloRebound replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can’t see Hyde playing again. Could see Tre hanging em up too after how much he struggled coming back from the ACL. Maybe Poyer comes back next year but McBeane definitely bringing in a vet starting safety and drafting one in first 4 rounds. Douglas, Benford and Taron will be starting CB’s. Free agent and Poyer/rookie starting safeties. -
He got beat out by a 6th rounder last year, and has been effectively out for 4 months with a sprained ankle that he’s calling a torn ligament and kinda suggesting the team made him try to play through it. Say what you want about McBeane, but they’ve always been very conservative with player injuries. Major red flags around Elam.
-
Benford has consistently been ahead of Elam since they were drafted. And Bernard got his opportunity and ran with it. Plus as a 3rd rounder he’s basically a vet minimum guy instead of a $3-4m cap hit per year that Elam as a 1st rounder is. Bills had to spend a 3rd rounder on Douglas to shore up the CB position and now Elam’s offering up excuses to the media that border on throwing his employer under the bus. Most signs point to this guy being a bust. Better to trade him for a 4th or 5th rounder and use that $3m elsewhere.
-
Because Bills clearly didn’t trust in him before the injury and now a sprained ankle effectively cost him a whole season. Cutting him costs $8m in dead money. Trading him for anything saves $5m in cap over next 2 years. Give that money to Jackson or a safety. The trade for Douglas sealed his fate. He ain’t beating out Douglas or Benford next year.
