Mel Kiper Mocks — 1.0 DT Rashan Gary 2.0 DK Metcalf

Yes. 9 for 21 and Clark. We have the cap space the next 3 years, and 21 is a better spot for WR/TE. -

And Bobby Wagner who’s the Russell Wilson of their defense. Makes so much sense for Seahawks to swap Clark for an edge rusher on a rookie deal. -

Beane and co. seem to be everywhere and involved in everything. If nothing else, these guys are the hardest working front office in football.- 52 replies

Who do you want in the first round?

Could probably do an Edmunds trade up for Hockenson or Metcalf. One of them will probably still be available around pick 16 or 17. -

Allen is gonna be on his rookie deal for at most another 2-3 years. That’s the window where you can go out and pay for established talent. Makes way more sense to go after an established pass rusher like Clark and Clowney than draft a Sweat, Burns or even an Oliver at 9. Ford set the market at a 2nd round pick for a pass rusher on the franchise tag. That equals a trade down from 9 to 21 or 23. -

Not a surprise that one of the greatest QB’s of all-time is an a-hole. Most of the greats in any profession are. -
Too many draft picks this year
BuffaloRebound replied to Gisele's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure how a 6-10 team can have too many draft picks. There’s at least 7 roster spots open on the 53 man roster... a RB, a TE, a WR, an OT, a DL, at least 1 LB, and a DB. Not to mention most of the free agents signed this year are on 1 year deals. 6th and 7th round picks are more for the practice squad, so I’m not seeing too many picks. -
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000928583/article/mike-mayocks-2018-nfl-mock-draft-bills-trade-up-for-josh-allen Mayock’s was pretty damn close across the board. Might not always get the team right but but he was super accurate in the range the player went. Ward was the curveball last year in the top 5.

There’s no way they trade him, right? I mean that would be nuts. You’d have to give me at least your 3 first rounders and 2 second rounders the next 2 years. And I’d have to love a QB in this draft and have a deal in place with Arizona for the #1 pick. I not sure even that’s enough for a 30 year old Russell Wilson.

I’d be careful writing Gary off. Seemed to be weirdly used by Harbaugh who seems to be losing his mind lately. He looked pretty dominant at times in 2017. Guy was the consensus #1 recruit out of high school, and might be a guy who is a better pro than college player. He has All Pro potential. It couldn’t have been easy playing for a crazy coach like Harbaugh especially when Gary knew he’d be a high 1st round pick as soon as he put in his 3 years.

I can buy this more than trading up 2-3 spots for a guy 6 teams already passed on. Good chance that guy falls to you at 9. If they think Williams is the best player in the draft and Arizona takes the QB, and the 49ers and Jets take pass rushers because they’ve drafted top 5 DT’s the past couple drafts and Bosa/Allen are elite pass rushers. Raiders might be willing to trade down.

Hard to criticize him. That’s life changing money. Not sure why UB didn’t insist on a higher buyout though in the contract extension. They took a pretty big chance on him when they gave him the job to replace Hurley. Alabama job had to be in the works for a couple weeks. Alabama athletic department is swimming in money. They would’ve paid a lot more than $750k to buy Oats out.

New Stadium Talk as of owner’s meetings
BuffaloRebound replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the dome becomes a negotiating point between Pegula and the government. Retractable dome probably doubles the cost. Pegula says we don’t need dome for football. Government pays for if it wants it to hold non-football events. -
Would anyone trade for Ogbah

I think Frank Clark will be a Bill by the end of the draft. Seattle has to pay Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner who will both get mega deals. Makes sense for them to flip Clark for a cheaper draft pick in a draft heavy on elite pass rushers. Bills have the cap space plus Hughes and Lawson are free agents next year. Swap of 1sts and Seattle takes Sweat/Gary/Burns at 9. Bills take BPA Wilkins/Simmons/Metcalf/Hockenson/Fant/Jonah/Taylor/Dillard/Ford at 21. -
